Motel 101

The value was great and the people very nice. The rooms were clean but very basic which was ok we came for the beach and nearby towns. The prices were great, and they were very accommodating to our two families.

We were disappointed that they did not have coffee in the rooms or in the office. Last time we were there the lobby had a small breakfast area which was just perfect and had coffee, tea and continental breakfast foods. But with the pandemic I'm sure that all changed. If you go, bring you own breakfast and extra snacks and food there is a fridge and microwave.

Power was out throughout the area. The previous hotel I had booked would not let me check-in. The staff here were very generous and thoughtful and let me stay, even with the power out. I don't know what I would have done otherwise, there was a raging winter storm and these people took me in. I am really grateful, the other place was willing to let me sleep in my car.

A nice walk across the 4 lane provides access to the beach ⛱ Nice walk to several places to eat. Manager was super nice. The room was extra clean and big. Because of the nice weather during our stay the windows were open in the room as well as in the bathroom so everything was nicely ventilated. The bathroom has a very small slider window with a view into a locked & fenced "alley". Our room was on Main level which was nice so the view was the parking lot the car wash across the side street and we could also see across the four lane. As busy as that highway is the noise levels were not bothersome.

Only thing they did not have hair dryers.

it’s a bit sparse for any of the ‘extra’ amenities but if you are out and about exploring the area you won’t miss them!

If you’re looking for cheap and simple this is the right place. I was able to walk across the street and walk down to the beach in about ten minutes. The manager was extremely nice.

My only issue ( this happens almost everywhere ) is that the walls are so thin that we could hear someone sneeze and of course every other sound anyone made.

I really liked how big the room was. It exceeded my expectations and was very comfortable. My family and I also enjoyed the microwave and fridge! And the location was fantastic!

One bed had sheets that where not clean. This was dealt with very fast!

Rooms very clean with comfortable bed and good pillows. Older motel but rooms have been updated. Great water pressure in shower. Staff very friendly and check in easy.

No issues. Noisy neighbors but not completely unbearable.

the host was very nice and friendly.He allowed us to park our boat on the property. The room was clean, and a decent price. No blow dryer or coffee machine, but we survived without them.😁

The building is old but the updated room was awesome! The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend staying at Motel 101!

No continental breakfast but that may have been due to COVID 19.

clean, basic, and comfortable. if you’re looking for luxury - this is not it. However, the room was very clean and had all the essentials which was perfect!
