Embarcadero Resort

we loved this place. I brought my son up with a couple of his buddies for his 12th birthday weekend. The boys had so much fun staying here. they spent hours exploring the huge property, crabbing, and in the pools. The boys said if there was a basketball hoop then they would never leave lol. Then it would have been perfect. the location was great. All within minutes of Ripley’s Believe It or Not, the aquarium, shopping, and more. Staff were great!!! one lady at the front desk said she hardly ever worked the front desk but she had a great sense of humor and made checking in so easy. She even put a rush on the room clean so we could check in a few hours early. super cool, there was an orca in the bay outside of our room ❤️❤️!!! it really was an experience we will never forget and we will definitely be going back!!!

The room was amazing and great view. Only problem was soooo many stairs and the shower head was really short...but the room was perfect for our anniversary get away...we definitely would go back

The staff checking us in was rude. We know we where early by 20 minutes to check in time. But the staff didn't want to talk to us till 4 which was check in..she told us all rooms are ready between 4 and 6..but wouldn't tell us anything else...we sat at the bar till 4:40 and then again asked about our room witch was ready and the other staff member told us we could have had the room when we asked for it earlier.

The room had a comfortable king bed, light yet comfy bedding, a couch and was very spacious. But the view... was incredible! It had a nice little coffee bar/fridge set up and a spacious bathroom. The balcony felt private and had a couple chairs and a table so we could sit and stare at the view for hours. The front desk even called us the first evening to check on us, as we were coming from a long ways and running later than we thought the first day. They were very friendly. Newport was incredible. We loved walking on the docks, Newport Bayfront and at Nye Beach. Amazing restaurants everywhere.

The room numbers/building numbers were a little strange at first, so initially we walked up the wrong stairs. The room we had did have a lot of stairs, which was fine for us, but for an older couple or someone with any kind of disability they would not be able to handle the stairs. So it might be best to call and confirm your reservations if that's something that concerns you.

What a great comfortable room I stayed in. Great view of Newport Bridge and Newport River with a lanai. This was a brand new rental so everything is new. I am not sure ever room is like the one I rented. It maybe the owner rents the room out so I cannot say every room is like this but my room was spectacular. No kitchen facilities. Did have a coffee maker with coffee and condiments. Would stay here again easily

Better setup for coffee

The view was absolutely spectacular. We had a one bedroom king suite on the bottom floor right next to the bay. We loved sitting on our blacony and watching the sea lions and soaking in the gorgeous view. It was very spacious and cozy. Perfect for my partner, 18 month old, and myself. It was incredibly close to tons of food options and the aquarium was only a 10 minuite drive away. The pool and hot tub were also very nice and the view from the pool room was amazing as well.

We did have some people staying on the floor above us and unfortunately you can hear everything when you're staying on the bottom floor. It wasn't too bad but definitely a bummer if you have kiddos you're trying to get to go to bed.

The room we stayed in was amazing. It was nicely furnished and decorated. It had an amazing view of the marina and we learned about the crab docks and you can bring your own pots and the cooking facility for crab. We would like to stay there more often if it wasn't busy.

The walls are very thin and need sound proof insulation so you don't hear everything around you and your neighbors

Location was amazing, the views were incredible and the apartment was great for our family, wish we could've stayed longer. Liked that the kitchen had utensils and pots for cooking and everything thats needed in the kitchen was there.

Some windows wouldn't open in the rooms and during the day it'd get to hot in the apartment, also the shower knob got detached while using the shower, but thankfully I was able to get it back into place after a while of trying. But everything else was great

Our room was so cute, high ceilings and a great view! Woodsy and right on the water. We were looking for a place that we liked enough to call “our place” at the coast and we found it! I forgot my phone charger and one of the maintenance guys found me one, that sealed the deal on this place. We’re looking forward to coming back!

I didn’t like that I only booked one night. And that i didn’t bring any cash to tip the guy who went out of his way to find me a phone charger and for the envelope in the room for the housekeeping.

They went above and beyond for us when I told them we were getting married. We got to our room with a wedding card on the bed with some hearts on the wall. Seriously, it made our stay very cozy, and we felt at home. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Resturant wasn't open but still wasn't a game changer.

The room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Having the restaurant attached to the hotel (I have no words for how amazing the food was). We had lunch at the restaurant and dinner. We took our dinner back to our room and sat on the outside deck ate, and watched the sun set on the bay. I couldn’t ask for a better location. We were able to walk to the wax museum and the other small shops around. I have already recommended this resort to many people.

The lady at the front desk was not too friendly or professional. When we arrived she acted as if we were a bother to her being on her personal phone. The heating in the room was very low. Being close to winter it was quite chilly in the evening. The shower was my least favorite. I couldn’t take a shower because the head was spraying everywhere.
