Brownstone Colonial Inn

Breakfasts were great. They even gave us a light breakfast on the day we had to leave early. The decor was beautiful. Host and Hostess were very nice and helpful.

Well, the room basically was not convenient. There weren't any comfortable chairs to relax in. The bathroom was very antiquey but not typical. The bed was quite uncomfortable though the day bed was. Too many pillows ;) Maybe more emphasis on comfort than beauty? It would have been nice to have our own small refrigerator but they let us use the common one downstairs

I enjoyed breakfast and the location. I'm from the area and this B&B was perfectly located to meet our plans for our visit. The hosts were terrific, whether providing for guest needs or just providing conversation. We'll have to return and take advantage of their stay three nights, get the fourth free package for week-night stays.

The wifi caused me problems throughout the stay. My wife had better luck with it than me. I don't know if this was due to the location of our room and we would have better luck in a different room. But, we weren't staying there to hang out in the room and surf the net.

We were up and out earlier than the set breakfast time . On Sunday morning ,we were given a light "to go breakfast"". My FRIENDLINESS, the SERVICE , the ACOMMENDATIONS were exceptional. .y friend who is infirmed and uses a ROLL-AIDER WALKER , was very pleased!

The Inn is historic, from 1790, and absolutely gorgeous! The grounds contain gardens and are nestled in a rural and quiet setting. The innkeepers were absolutely wonderful and helpful!

Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Fresh ingredients from their farm or a local farm. Fresh lemonade and cinnamon rolls were waiting when we arrived. The Miller's were very accommodating. Building was beautiful and decorated to be time period it was built! We left feeling like we were old friends!

Exquisite breakfast, delicious home made food... The best breakfast that we had in a while.... five star hotels do not compare on flavor, presentation and service. Brenda and Mark were super welcoming, friendly and kind, the house is beautiful, the location is idyllic and the food was out of this world. Highly recommend this B&B to anyone who enjoys nature, quiet and beautiful surroundings. The house is old but very well taken care of and very quaint and comfortable. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home and had fantastic recommendations for things to do in the area. Great couple and friendly pets that made our stay just marvelous.

A lovely property conveniently located in central Pennsylvania, just a short drive from many attractions. Surprisingly excellent restaurants nearby. And you will be hard-pressed to ever find more affable and accommodating innkeepers than Mark and Brenda.

There was absolutely nothing to complain about but if I was forced to nitpick, the selection of teas was pedestrian. Some gourmet/upscale blends would be just a little detail that would leave a cherry-on-top type impression.

Beautiful location, amazing house, delicious breakfasts and perfect hosts! I can't rave enough about this B&B....Brenda was so charming from the moment we arrived and you can tell she and Mark take great pride in the home. The decor was beautiful and it may have been the cleanest place I've ever stayed! Even with Covid, they made it cozy, with breakfast delivered to the rooms and no-contact, yet friendly, clean up. Location is perfect if you're looking to go antiquing, as it's minutes away from Adamstown. I definitely recommend staying here!

There was nothing to dislike.

The conversations. Meeting new people! Mark and Brenda were fantastic hosts! The breakfasts were yummy and filling. The water feature outside was inviting and calming. Room was very comfortable.

This is an older BnB, an Historic building. We stayed in the Suite with an extra room. The bed was exceptionally comfortable..... just a little “creaky” getting in and out of it.... but very good mattress. The bathroom had a contemporary walk in shower.... very nice! The breakfasts, served to our room because of COVID restrictions, were delicious! The Innkeeper was friendly and attentive!!

The property is situated on a corner, across from a dairy farm.... very pleasant view and ... kind of “off the beaten path”.
