Gettysburg Hotel

I loved the location, location, location. There's so much within an easy walk. One Lincoln restaurant, in the hotel, is tops. Excellent food and friendly staff.

Due to rennovations in progress, our room had a chemical smell that neither vents nor open windows could remove. I should have requested a different room. But I didn't. Won't make that mistake again. Also, the exercise room is extremely small and located in the basement level. I felt uneasy working out there as a single woman. So I didn't.

The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable.

There was no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. Rooms were not ready at 4pm check in, it wasn’t until 6pm that our room was ready. Some staff at the hotel were very friendly, others did not present the most friendly attitude towards customers. Another couple that was with us has no AC in their room, this was addressed multiple times and staff did not seem to care.

I appreciated the courteous staff, cleanliness, spacious room w jacuzzi tub, location, food, the quiet environment in the hotel.

I didn’t care for the pillows, they were not very good. I wasn’t fond of the bedding not comfy, didn’t like that there was no microwave or small fridge in the room. No robes. Also not a nice selection of soda’s or snacks to buy near front desk. Things you come to expect in such a nice place. Also remote was a little frustrating to work but other than that was enjoyable!

The restaurant is very good—when it’s open. The bar is excellent. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I always get stuck in a handicapped room, why I don’t know. That has some advantages, but more drawbacks. The closet rod is three feet off the floor (can’t hang up pants). I have to kneel down to look through the door peephole.

Location is great, so nice that there is a restaurant, bar, and Starbucks right there. Beautiful building, room was nice, new carpeting which was a nice thing.

Tub didn't drain well, wish bathroom was bigger since there were 3 of us - even with 2 it was smallish. Some more touches in lobby area and sitting area would make it "home-ier"

We parked our car not realizing that parking was not included. We were checking in when they told us about needing to pay. My husband went out right away in less than when we were checking in and young man. Notified us we had a ticket. This is totally unacceptable an email with the reservation should have been sent

Did not enjoy breakfast. Server was nice but took over 30 minutes to receive our food and we were the only customers.

Just the restaurant timely service. We gave ourselves an hour to have breakfast. By the time the server took our order and we got our food we had about ten minutes to eat before we had to leave for our appointment at the college. Also how can you not have the ingredients to make biscuits and gravy? 🤦‍♀️

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was exactly where we wanted to be. Also had bike rentals.

I was very disappointed that my room didn't have a mini fridge for the amount of money I paid for one night the hotel could have put one in the room. And no free parking.

The staff was friendly and informative. I loved the view of the square from my room. The location made access to all points of the town, shops, points of interest, and battlefield very easy.

Why isn’t the pool open? Perhaps the pool area could become a patio?

1. Breakfast was excellent. 2. The queen bed was not what we requested. We requested a king bed, however, there were none available. I suggest you furnish more rooms with a king bed set up to accommodate your guests.

Each room should have a king bed set up. See above.
