Hilton Garden Inn Gettysburg

I absolutely loved the breakfast it was affordable and the times were convenient. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Loved the in house 24hr store. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping staff was exceptional. I have no complaints.

Only thing i can say bad is that Friday and Saturday night was like a daycare center occupied the pool area, when we did finally get in the pool area to use the hot tub, it was cool not warm and the jets weren't working.

Friendly and helpful staff. The air-conditioning unit in my room was not working. It would blow air, but the room was not cooling. I dealt with it the first night. I told front desk staff the next morning; they said the maintenance guy was there and he would look at it while I was out for the day. Came back later that afternoon to a cool room! Very happy with the quick service and fix. Also: Great location; comfortable bed.

Pillows were super soft and unsupportive. Bring your own if that matters to you.

Great place to stay when visiting Really nice hotel and rooms. Made to order breakfast wonderful and cheap if you dont buy a room package with it included. Nice big room, good bed and love the coffee pods for coffee pot and refrigerator. Have a bar at night and huge snack and drink area to purchase things. Young front desk gal at night was so friendly and helpful. Wish I had her name. 4th Hilton Gardens stay and becoming one of my favorites. Kept in touch with me before regarding special room requests. Love the APP check in and digital key (still get keys cause can only use on one persons phone).🤗👍

Well maintained property, ample parking, low road noise, small basic convenience counter, bar and limited fare available, pool was enjoyed by many other guests, tiny designated smoking spot, microwave and mini fridge, decent tv, moderately updated furnishings and decor, well maintained, helpful employees, clean and comfortable. Security measures in place.

Check in area not obvious upon entering lobby, smoking accommodations inadequate and breakfast not included. Paid for amenities we couldn’t enjoy due to large group of middle schoolers (well behaved, polite, but still..) that overtook the pool, lounge, elevators, and serenity. No fan in bathroom, not enough towel hooks/bars, or trash cans, toilet paper is thin and cheap, shower head is basic.

Hotel very nice building and foyer. Rooms very spacious and nice. Have lots of snacks/drinks you can buy day and night. The bar was open in evening. Comfortable bed and like the coffee pods and refrigerator. Breakfast you can buy for $7.95 if dont buy buy it in your room package. Made to order breakfast with juices and coffee. Cant beat the price for what you get and very good. Had the friendliest people at the service desk.

Shower pressure could be stronger and more regular coffee pods in room. Did ask for and received but we both like a cup of coffee before getting dressed. There was a tea and decaf.

HGI Gettysburg is in an attractive setting with very nice amenities. It made a perfect base for our explorations of Gettysburg National Battlefield. The ambience of the lobby is several steps above what you would expect at a moderately priced motel; there is a little shop where you can purchase sundries and a tiny but nice restaurant and bar. Plus, the motel is pet friendly! We will definitely stay here again.

The ambiance when you walk in is phenomenal! I loved seeing a shop/store front and center upon walking in. There was also a beautiful backdrop in the corner; great for pictures. Daniel, the front desk attendant when we checked in, I LOVED THIS MAN! So funny and engaging, with a wonderful heart and personality. I often complete reviews but never name drop. This man and his kindness need to be recognized! Thank you so much, Daniel!

We liked the cleanliness which is most important because we are neat/clean freaks. We liked the beds and bedding. We especially loved the staff from the front desk personnel to the wait staff and chef.

We cannot have much sugar and did not find much to eat except protein with no sugar. We did get a container of sugarless syrup so that was good. We also couldn't use the sweet creamers so we had to use 2% milk in our coffee. They apologized that their sugarless creamers did not arrive in time. We also could hear every movement and I mean everything from the people upstairs. Thin walls and floor, I guess.

Although we had requested that the two rooms we had reserved under the same reservation be next to each other, the hotel staff was not able accommodate. We had called the facility before and were told this request could be accommodated. In fact our room had an internal connection to the adjacent room ( rm 400). If this is feature, why not ensure that the rooms made under the same reservations be next to each other.

Very nice hotel, staff are extremely helpful and polite. The hotel, restaurant and pool were all clean and well kept. Breakfast was amazing, best I’ve had. Purchasing the room with up charge for breakfast is recommended and well worth the money spent and if your staying more than one night it is actually a value!

TV is satellite and is spotty, it stops and reloads often. Hotel was hosting a group during our stay and restaurant and bar was closed Saturday evening to other guests without notice to other guests, we had to change our plans for dinner after a long day of walking the Battlefields.
