Quality Inn & Suites - Gettysburg

I had low expectations for a 2 star hotel, but in comparison to a rival facility in a different city, this was perfect: no mice, working appliances, not leaking ac, clean and draining shower, etc. Also loved the indoor pool and extensive breakfast options

The bed was comfortable, and the room was very spacious and big. And the staff everyone was so helpful. And the young man at the front desk was very knowledgeable about the history of Lancaster but also, Gettysburg. And I enjoyed the variety of all the items for breakfast. Everyone was very helpful I would, come there and book a room at the hotel again.

If maybe you would’ve had either like a waffle maker, or a pancake maker to have a little something warm with breakfast. That would’ve been nice, but everything was pretty much just right on spot, and so many ways.

The room was clean and quite. The staff is top notch, they are really helpful in answering questions. I had a couple of small issues in my room, however the staff came right up and took care of it.

I was there for four nights, and never had the room cleaned. It states after three nights to expect service, well that didn't happen. The pillows are terrible, I would suggest the hotel to consider replacing them.

The staff was very friendly, my room key some how got deactivated and I was able to get a new key right away. The room was really clean and smelled really nice. It was also very quiet all night.

The stairs outside leading to the second floor were rusty and had a few holes, but you could tell they are in the process of making upgrades. I also didn't like the smell of Marijuana when we walked through the door to the second floor to get to our room.

my room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful. I had a late check in and they had juice and coffee available for me still. The staff was always smiling and helpful. Parking was plentiful. There was a very good Restautant very close by. Staying here was unplanned but not uncomfortable. One of the best stays I have had traveling half way across the country.

i would have liked two soaps in my room instead of having to take one from sink to shower. and if that is the biggest problem in a hotel room then i think i will return again!

Staff are always pleasant and helpful.Rooms are always clean.

You keep advertising Breakfast included but when we arrive there is a notice on the wall Breakfast stopped November 01. When I inquired with ,check in staff, I get the deer in the headlight look. Please quit advertising breakfast included if your not going to provide it. It makes your Company look dishonest!

Honestly, every single thing went well!! Planning another trip there very soon and I'm going to stay at this same hotel. The staff was very friendly, the rooms and entire common area were very clean, neat...the place even SMELLED good!! Given the current situation where COVID is concerned, it made sense to not have an actual kitchen for everyone to use. What actually was offered was much better than I could have expected! An individually packed "bag-breakfast" was available for the asking and I gotta say, I don't know where they got their microwaveable biscuits and croissants, but they were absolutely delicious!! Thanks again, I can't wait to come back!!

The only thing I didn't like was ultimately my own fault!! I was constantly getting lost trying to get to the battlefield tours and graveyards that I wanted to explore. Like I said...totally my own fault!

I loved the location.. Far enough away from downtown and the highway to be quiet but close enough that you can be in town or on the battlefield in just a few minutes. Several good restaurants close by. Our king size room was very roomy, clean and comfortable. The price at $84/night (tax included) was very fair. This hotel also allows pets for $10 per night. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The dresser in our room was broken with collapsed drawers but we never use them. Still, it's unsightly and serves to cheapen the experience if not repaired. Our TV was on close-caption and couldn't be turned off. The menu setting said it was off, but it wasn't, and interfered with viewing on the small 32" screen, Like most hotels during the pandemic, the free breakfast was meager although they do give out grab 'n go bag breakfasts if you ask. Our door lock malfunctioned and stopped reading our cards the morning of checkout. Management tried to fix it with new cards but the problem was in the lock itself. This meant someone had to always stay in the room while we shuttled our belongings into our car (minor annoyance). In fact, all the shortcomings were just very minor things.

The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and the place was clean. The front desk staff was nice and made us feel welcome. There was a restaurant within walking distance so the location was good.

Well, we haven't stayed there before and no one mentioned that we needed to ask for housekeeping to come to give us clean towels so we were surprised when we got back to the room and this hadn't been done. It wasn't a big deal, just would have like to have been told. It wasn't until the next morning we noticed the sign on the mirror stating this. The only other issue was the toilet was loose from either the tank or the floor. I really didn't dwell on it. It was clean, it worked and that was all I cared about.

The floor left our feet black and the room had an awful odor to it...smelled like someone had smoked in it...the dressers drawers were busted...couldn't pull them out and if you did it was a struggle to get them back in...bathroom wall had a huge hole in it and the floor lamp was missing a prong so you couldn't plug it in...sink backed up...very disappointed in the quality of the room...the pool was shut down becuz of cleaning for an entire day and night and part of the next day...then the chemicals were so strong it burned your eyes and damaged my granddaughters hair...not sure if I will ever stay in this hotel again and I'm not even sure if I would recommend it to anyone...I expected better out of the quality inn
