This room was wonderful. Huge oversized room. Cute decor. Exceptionally clean. It was a bonus having a mini refrigerator, microwave, dishes in the room. Our two queen beds were very comfortable. The view across the street of the lake was breathtaking. It was fun to walk the path around the lake. It was so easy checking in using door code sent before arrival. No contact check-in was perfect. Can’t wait to come back in the summer and take advantage of the water activities and beach across the street.. So many other things we would like to explore including several nice restaurants and brewery that looks new! Thank you again!

This is our second time coming this year. We are glad to have discovered East Shore Lodging and the area of Lake Wallenpaupack! We like the no contact check in/check out and locking the room. The staff in the office/gift shop is very friendly and helpful. We can't say enough about the room: very CLEAN, big, lots of storage, great water pressure, TV, microwave and refrigerator. Even though it rained half the time we were there, the room was cheery and well lit. The outside property is also well lit and feels safe. It was quiet and peaceful.

The contactless entry was simple and secure. We stayed in room 2, it was immaculate and huge, with a great view of the lake (it was so nice sitting outside). We had so much room and there are plenty of drawers and a closet for storage. The beds were comfortable with about 10 different pillows to choose from. Air conditioner and celing fan worked well. The room was bright, cheerful and decorated nicely with a lake theme. Lots of lighting. Bathroom is updated and shower worked well. Lots of towels, if you need more, just leave the dirty ones in a provided laundry basket outside and they quickly replenish with fresh ones. Convenient to many great restaurants and activities (boat rentals and boat tours are operated from the on site gift shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff) Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back soon!

we booked late on a holiday weekend so we took what ever was left our room faced the rear of the property and was a walk up it was very dark at night could use some more lights and the push button locks are a little hard to get used to

I really appreciated how everything was done via remote entry. I didn't have to check in at the desk. My key code was texted to me the day before and day of my arrival. As we are just getting out of covid restrictions, this gave me peace of mind about traveling. The hotel is located literally in the heart of all Lake Wallenpaupack activities and right across from the Lake itself, which made for a nice stroll and watching the sunset. I was traveling for work and the location of my early morning meeting was only 10 minutes from the hotel.

The hotel itself was fine. Room was spacious, wi-fi excellent for numerous devices. But, I was there during the height of tourist season and I had a very hard time finding a place to eat dinner without an hour and a half wait. The hot dog and ice cream stand next to the hotel wasn't making hot dogs due to grille being down. It just appeared that the whole tourist section wasn't geared back up to receive travelers. A few more diners or additions to existing restaurants would be great.

Location was perfect and close to everything. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable.

Room did have a weird odor. Musty or something but it wasn't unbearable. Also water in the bathroom sink got very hot very fast, burned my hand the first time I washed my hands.

We stayed in a deluxe queen suite and it was HUGE!! The room was super clean and inviting! We only stayed two nights and didn’t spend much time there and we wished we could have stayed longer!! We will definitely book again! It was so nice to just have to walk up 3 stairs to the room and we could park right outside! It was my husband and myself and our 5 y/o and 6 m/o and it worked perfectly! Right across the street from the lake and they even offer boat tours and rentals!

The only thing I would change is that I wish or room would have had a tub for the kids but the shower was also huge with seats in it so we made it work.

Well appointed and smartly laid out. Location couldn't be better for enjoying some of the best views of the lake as well as the center of Hawley. Easy room access and who knew not needing to use a room key would feel so good. Would definitely stay here again!

The bathroom sink in our room kept running hot water even when only the cold was turned on so that was strange but the nightlight on the faucet was an awesome touch.

Overall, very nice place. Spacious room and accommodating staff. Great location and easy access to restaurants and visitor's center. We would stay here again.

The bed is not that comfortable. The heating units make a high pitched noise when they are on. We had to turn down the heat at night so we could sleep. The noise was so bothersome we could not sleep when it was on.

Location is great. Right across from lake. Large room. Wanted room 11 but it was unavailable. Room 10 was clean, large enough and had microwave refrigerator and coffee maker. That was all we needed. Visiting friends in the area.

Parking could be challenging during high season. The parking lot is used for boat tours and rentals across street.
