The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I needed to check in a little early, and they were very accommodating. The room, linens, towels were all clean and fresh. The location overlooking the waterfalls is really a rare gem. The lobby was a cozy spot to read, with a fireplace, comfortable sofas, and board games. The restaurant in the hotel had absolutely amazing food.

Some of the fixtures in the bathroom were a bit dated. I couldn't get my television to work but I didn't bother to ask for assistance because it wasn't that important to me. The shower gel dispenser was empty.

Barb at the front desk made us feel like we were coming home every time we walked in. The amenities and the shared property amenities were over the top. We ADORED the Cocoon... I could go there every day. The Ledges... phew. What stunning and simple beauty. I felt like I was in a movie most of the time. I can't wait to come back.

We were in a room by the exit door so it was a little loud in the morning, but we wouldn't let that keep us from coming again as it was a normal amount of noise for where our room was. :)

Ledges hotel was magical! We were greeted by a wonderful receptionist who was beyond helpful. The view was amazing & hotel beautiful. My husband & I enjoyed everything. Wished we had more time.

The service could have been much better when dining at Glass (wine bar). At first we were the only customers in the restaurant. Everyone was friendly but not attentive. The following day our breakfast was okay. The other restaurant was busy with only one server who was beyond overwhelmed and very forgetful. Under pressure she could’ve been friendlier especially since we were understanding. The location was beautiful. Seemed like a nice place to also stay. BUT overall fun night away.

We liked just about everything. Being able to have vouchers for breakfast was a plus, also having a short walk to the Cocoon. Great for our teenaged grandchildren.

Our three grandchildren had the two bedroom suite above us on the second floor and it was perfect. My husband and I on first floor since my husband is handicapped and the room was almost perfect. It did have challenges in the shower though. No bar or shelf to hold onto and not able to have a shower wand was hard. But I also did not specify his particular needs when I booked at the Ledges.

The Ledges was a unique road trip stop in the Pocono Mountains in Hawley. Beautiful boutique hotel in a beautiful unique location. Views of the mill river from out door deck and their restaurant. Room was beautiful, comfortable bed. The price was a bit more premium, but well worth the accomodations and delicious breakfast. Breakfast was offered at their partner property the Settlers Inn, a convenient few minute drive from the Ledges Hotel. The Settlers Inn restaurant and hotel are in a beautifully restored 1930 craftsman style hotel. Delicious full dining room breakfast.

Rooms are spacious, well kept and very clean. Staff VERY attentive to their customers. Enjoyed dinner at the Glass restaurant on premises as well!

Liked this property and plan to return, but if I could make any recommendations that would be that perhaps they can add a breakfast option on premises and some evening activity (??) during the winter months, indoors or in the beautiful outdoor area facing the waterfall, ie chairs by a firepit, etc.

It was a beautiful location. Friendly staff, easy check in and check out. The restaurant at the Ledges Location is exceptional and delicious!

The extra fees were a bit much for one night. Wish there were more active car and bus services nearby. The hotel does have a car company they recommend and a shuttle to the Settlers inn...but it would be nice if there were more transportation options.

I cannot believe I found this place but I’m so so happy I did. My boyfriend and I wanted a staycation and Room 202 did exactly that for us. We had an amazing view of the waterfall from all windows, and it felt like this was our apartment! The jacuzzi was great, everything super clean, friendly staff, their restaurant Glass is a MUST, the main room is super cozy, and each day you’re there, you get a $27 voucher that can be used at their coffeehouse Cocoon (cute & cozy but you do have to walk up an incline to get there). We will be absolutely coming back!

N/A - my boyfriend and I had an amazing time! however if you’re someone who does get dizzy easily, the spiral staircase might get to you after going up & down a lot

The most compelling attraction of the Ledges is setting the and how the restaurant takes advantage of the waterfall. As long as you can eat outside it's glorious. The food is exceptional and the server was extremely knowledgeable. The two-story room (bed up, sitting down connected by a spiral stair) was cool and the bed very comfortable (newly refurbished). The fact that you can have breakfast at the Settlers Inn is a special bonus.

There's a significant safety issue with the spiral stair. It's steel and the steps are not cushioned in any way. You can really bang your head if you're not careful and I expect it wouldn't be hard to get a trip to the hospital for stitches. The fix is to cushion the stairs that are can be bumped. It's not that many. And the room was not suitable for anyone that has problems with stairs (about 20 steps) but we found it charming.
