Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center

Loved the pleasantness of the staff when we checked in with the exception of the check out staff. But won't allow that one negative experience to taint the wonderful time we had at the resort. We traveled with 2 young kids, they had a blast, we loved the numerous activities that the hotel offered, the hotel being in a great location, close to many other attractions and activities.We had a great 4 nights there, absolutely no complaints and looking forward to returning in December during our son's Winter break. I loved that the indoor heated pool was really heated, as the many I've been to lacked any type of heat..Restaurant food was awesome, as well as the staff..Outdoor pool a nice size and clean..

I honestly didn't like the fact that i had to walk to the lobby in middle of night to heat baby's milk or food. Not having a microwave in room was a little inconvenient but nonetheless it was a minor thing as the hotel far surpassed our expectations

We had stayed at this hotel for a conference under the previous owners. The new owners have put perfume on a pig, so to speak, and it looks nice. The bad part is the mattresses they chose; pillow top. You don't put pillow top mattresses in a hotel. There was no support to the mattresses. We could not have stayed another night.

The mattresses. Also, if you're putting 27 million to upgrade, why use a crappy wallpaper company? There were very visible seams in the hallways. Also, they do not have a restaurant in this place. There is a breakfast nook area that feels like a hospital cafeteria. In my opinion the 27 million upgrade was spent in the wrong areas. As a custom home furnishings consultant I could have advised them better.

The location & the amenities were the best! Lots of shopping, restaurants and Dutch Wonderland all within walking distance. Play areas for kids a huge plus, as well as the indoor/ outdoor pool. The front lounge was massive & beautiful. Room had a Refrigerator & safe. This was a very nice hotel. Will definitely stay here again. Having luggage carts at all entrances was perfect.

To few washer & dryers for a facility this large. Most staff couldn't speak English. Deactivated cards before checkout. Should offer continental breakfast. It would be nice to have a microwave in the room, instead of in the hall.

Very nice, clean, close to outlet stores. good price.

Brought all of our belongings in on cart to find out it could not be wheeled to our room as only stairs. Had to put everything back in car and drive around to back. Desk clerk should have told us.

Loved the hotel especially for a child. Multiple pools and play things for both inside and outside which is great if it rains. My 5 year old loved the heated pool and playground, we also took advantage of the fireplaces outside and that was awesome. The beds were very comfortable also.

Cons are limited counter space, the shower was handicap accessible and flooded the bathroom, and no microwave in the room, the mini fridge didn't stay very cold. we didn't take advantage of the restaurant because it was expensive, there is a $30 a night fee that gets added that falls off after your stay

After reading other peoples comments I was a little skeptical about it but after checking in and seeing the room and amenities it was perfect. There was no lugging our luggage around our room was perfect, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was big and definitely had enough toilet paper. Bonus they even provided bath and body works shampoo and conditioner which I loved, came home and bought some myself. We could walk around the room barefoot and it didn't feel gross. (I am big on flipflops especially at hotels) The indoor pool was great, clean, heated and they provided towels. The game room was ok, my son loves claw machines and there was only 1 which wasn't filled much. The location was awesome with dining all around and a shopping center a block away. All in all it was a great weekend we all enjoyed it and will definitely be visiting again.

The amenities were great except that the games didn’t work in the game room. Everything else was great.

No microwaves in the room

There was plenty to do even with small children. Areas to sit and talk as a family. Near many attractions. Hallway was large and clean. There was great access to the outdoor pool area and play area. The firepits outside were a nice touch.

Didn't offer free breakfast. Arcade room, not everything worked but still took your money. The outdoor pool area was too loud with music, and I wanted to sit and relax. The bathroom area is small, and housekeeping did not come between days of our stay.

The pools were amazing to be in and to just relax in. The room was very spacious and the location was great. The hotel was absolutely beautiful all around.

When we checked in the lady checking us in was very rude and harsh. It was very late when we ended up getting there because we had been driving for 12-13 hours. We were nothing but nice with her but she just wanted to get us checked in and done so she could go back to her personal call that she was on while checking us in.

The staff was really quite nice, polite, and accommodating. However, after two long days, I retired to the bar/restaurant. The bartender was the same both nights. First night, she didn't even offer that there was a kitchen, and I remained hungry for the night. The following day, I became aware of the kitchen, and to me, or anyone else who wanted food at 6pm, she discouraged everyone by telling us that there's a tremendous wait for the food, which didn't matter to us as we were staying overnight. When someone asked if there was pizza, she had a long pause before saying "yes". Then she was asked what kind of pizza is available, and she said "just regular" in a dismissive manner. Travelers are looking for food and drink, and the opportunity is missed here.
