Hampton Inn Philadelphia-Airport

The staff was helpful. The bathroom only had one small bar of soap which is not enough and the staff provided extra. The location was great for what we needed. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. We were happy to see the restuarant so close by so we could have dinner without having to get back out into the traffic. We liked the check in time and especially the check out time of Noon. Gave us time to get ourselves together in the am and still have some breakfast before we had to check out.

We were there to attend the Phillies game on Sunday. We planned to watch the Phillies game Saturday night in our room but it was not broadcast on the TV service they use. That was very disappointing. I'm staying in Philly and I couldn't watch the Phillies game!! Anyway, we ended up watching it on utube on my daughter's cell phone. Better than not at all. That was the only thing we didn't like.

We chose this property primarily for its close proximity to the PHL airport. We had a very early departure and wanted to be close to the airport for easy logistics. It was great that the airport shuttle was now operating 24/7. Note that the shuttle departs every half hour on the hour at 05 minutes and 35 minutes, e.g. 6:05am and 6:35am.

The shower/tub had a very slow drain so water accumulated causing puddling. We made the front desk staff know when we checked out. The only other issue we encountered, which was a bit inconvenient because we were on the road for two hours, was our room wasn't ready when we checked in at 3:00pm. In fact, over a dozen guests were waiting in the lobby and dining area for their room to become available.

Property and location was nice

The evening front desk agent was rude as hell has no customer service skills and check in takes her entirely to long she told me I couldn’t purchase snacks cuz the machine was down at the front desk unless I had cash she was very very rude me as a front desk agent at a very large hotel I would never speak to a guess in the way she did I was very upset other than that the stay was ok towels were not put out at the pool…

I like the room and the size of it. We weren't bothered as much as I thought we were going to be. The staff was really friendly and willing to help with my card issue, because my card for the room stopped working for my door even after they tried to fix it. So they just gave us both new cards. Also the man at the front desk helped me with details for next month because I'm trying to do a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday.

I didn't really like the breakfast. The French toast sticks were really hard so that was disappointing. The sausages was good though. I don't know if a bunch of people got to the breakfast before I could at 8:00 but there wasn't much left when I got down there.

What I like was that it was nice n comfortable not to much noise on the floor that i was on. Until later when it was some people there with kids running up n down the hallway. But it really didn't bother me.

Was that the bed was to soft n a lil old where it would make noise every time u got on n off it the pillows wasn't really pillows. The elevator needs work n could be a lil cleaner then what it was looking like do to covid going on. The shower pressure was to low not much water coming out. The house keeping people started cleaning rooms at 7 in morning. One opened my door while I was sleeping. But check out wasn't until 12 but most people did leave early. Gotten woking up again around 930 with the leaf blower outside blowing that was very loud so by then I just got up to get ready to go.

Breakfast was good ,room was an ok size , my other family had king size which I wish would of been available for room we stayed in staff was very friendly from front desk and the guy who oversaw breakfast was friendly and welcoming ,the chambermaids were very friendly didn’t come to room but spoke with in hallway and were accommodating would use to stay again for sure

Some kind of guide for tv , the car racing through nite how loud my other members were on back side and we were on front side of building and they also said noise kept waking them up was so loud I would think they could somehow solve the issue of multiple cars racing around strip of the hotels there

Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were nice. Very close to the airport and only about 20 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. Close to a gas station.

There are paint spots on the bathroom floor and shower curtain. The bathtub drain needs to be cleaned of hair so it drains faster.

Location was great, pretty near to the airport, lobby looked brightly lit and staff were super nice, professional & accommodating. The guy at the counter was so friendly, super sweet and got me checked in pretty quickly - we chatted for a bit, and really liked how they we so chill and easy to talk to. Coffee and tea was available all day at the lobby. The room was very zen - loved how everything was white - and the colours were so pleasing to the eyes. Beds were the perfect height, soft sheets, pillows, and enough room to move around. TV was big, desk space and the fridge and microwave came in pretty handy. The area between the desk and beds were a little tight, but it worked out pretty fine. The bathroom was fully stocked with towels, everything was arranged so neatly; size-wise; pretty good too. Really appreciated the Airport Shuttle, the front desk helps organize it all and that made getting to the airport stress-free; the driver was nice, efficient and sweet too. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!! 😁👍🏼

There were no cupboards for your clothes, etc. It was just a curtain by the wall, that looked kinda odd though.
