Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Philadelphia Airport Ridley Park

I was very surprised by the overall quality, cleanliness, and exceptional service!! The room were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The grounds were well kept. Location was great, right off the highway. There were a few stores and restaurants in close proximity. And for the price, it was fantastic! But most important was the exceptional and professional help and service I received from two of their employees. All the employees that I encountered were very friendly and nice, but two were really outstanding and I'd like to mention their names. If you check into Microtel and you happen to be helped by either Kashef or Randy, at the Front Desk, you'll meet two individuals who are patient, courteous, understanding and supportive, And, who actually are eager to help and appreciate their customers. So thanks again, Kashef and Randy on your outstanding customer service!

Since it is off the highway, if your room is in the back, it can get a bit noisy.

Great place to stay in the city. Right next to the highway to get around. Also a gas station across the parking lot! Great value for the money. Lobby was welcoming and clean, it smelled great, which was nice. Elevator and hallways were also clean. Room was just fine, updated, and clean no concerns. The only thing I would say is the bed linen is really light, so if you sleep cold you may need to ask for additional blankets. Also, no place to really hang towels, but no big deal! Overall, I will absolutely stay again!

The room was clean and spacious. It was right off the highway and right next to a royal farms in case you need something you could walk right over to it. They have breakfast, although I did not get any it was good that they have it. There is a fridge and microwave right in the room.

Nothing comes to mind. It is a good hotel, the value could be a little better, but it is not terrible. It is a $20 uber ride to South Philly, however closer hotels cost more, so it was more cost efficient to stay here and uber.

The hotel was very clean, especially after reading reviews of some of the other hotels in the area. The staff was very friendly. I had left my phone charger in the room when I left and called from home and one of the staff went to the room and retrieved it for me. The breakfast was good with a good assortment. They also had fresh fruit in the lobby for guests. The room was nice with 2 queen beds.. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

They could have had more lighting in the room. In the day with the curtains open there was sufficient light, but after dark, the lights in the room was not sufficient.

Very clean, comfortable. Easy access to highway. 15-20 min from downtown Philly. Randy at the front desk was very kind, helpful, and attentive to us.

We asked for our room to be serviced the first day...it was NOT! We reported an issue with the toilet and it was not addressed. They did offer to change our room due to the toilet issue. We were too tired to make the change and could live with the toilet issue. Randy seemed to be the only one who cared about his customers. As we keep seeing general HOUSEKEEPING continues to be lacking. One should NOT have to ask for fresh towels or garbage emptied every day.

we were right off 95, 4 miles from airport,but did not feel like we were in the city. Felt safe. Wendy’s, Cracker Barrel, Convenience store, and gas station within walking distance. everything was clean and beds were comfortable. Most pleasant staff. the shuttle to the airport was on time and so convenient. in fact, since we had an early flight the next day we decided to return our car to Avis the night before. From Avis we took the Avis bus to a terminal. called hotel and they sent their van to pick us up. (sounds complicated but it was not). That gave us an easy morning departure.

I can’t think of a negative.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff.

Staff initially tried to put me into a room that was not the size that was booked, which is why I gave it a lower rating than I normally would. However, they were very accommodating in fixing the mistake. I think they must have been somewhat short-staffed, because they had to clean the new room before I could enter it, and it was already evening.

An additional cost of 250 USD as security. ThusxwS not indicated at the time of booking the hotel but we were informed only while checking in. The front desk assured me that the 250 USD would be refunded in a day or two but I have not received my refund yet.

The room with its strong furnishings and fixtures was very comfortable. The view from the room with stores and other venues at the front and a sylvan tree line in the rear was very appealing. The desk staff, especially Randy, was very welcoming and accommodating. The snack bar offered diverse and sensible refreshments. My friend and I felt right at home.

The elevator pauses and is a bit bumpy. Not every light in the room was in working order. The room could have used more towels and wash cloths.

I love the location of the property to the airport I love the fact that you offer a grab and go breakfast and shuttles to and from the airport

I don’t like the fact that when I called to have the shuttle pick me up from the airport that the gentleman on the phone tried to tell me I only caught in five minutes ago when my phone lock clearly stayed at 26 minutes ago and then he started to give me attitude until I had to let him know I’m not going back-and-forth with him on this phone I know when I called and it was a five minutes ago it took the driver 45 minutes to get 10 minutes up the street and then when he arrived he tried to convince me and my family that we were going to the wrong hotel. I suggest if you don’t like your job find a new one
