Fairmont Pittsburgh

Location. Went to PNC PARK for concert. Lobby was gorgeous. Your staff was very friendly. I liked having direct access to parking garage and paying your ticket in lobby before you left. Felt very safe for my family. Thank you so much. The view was amazing just as I was promised when booking. If I'm ever in town again I will be back.

The only issue was your card reader wasn't working right. It kept declining our cards felt embarrassed. I called my bank when I got to room and they assured me it was on the motels end. Besides that a wonderful experience.

The room was nicely decorated with a good view. The bar was pleasant and the overall look of the lobby was beautiful. The parking deck was convenient and the front desk employees were very helpful and polite. Overall a good place to stay.

The light fixtures in our room were quite dusty, more attention to detail could have been had during cleaning and room prep, and overall the entire experience was too expensive and they didn't even validate parking with the cost of the room. Also, not impressed with the restaurant at all. Like with any hotel restaurant, I expected it to be overpriced, but I didn't expect the food to be so underwhelming and frankly not worth the calories. Plus the host who sat us kept us waiting needlessly and acted very annoyed to have to seat us. Our waitress was excellent however so that boosted morale quite a bit before we got the food. Just a few key things that made the stay not quite 100% satisfactory.

Free upgrade to a 22nd floor room, huge bathtub, amazing location

Fridge/mini bar in room wasn’t turned on so couldn’t store any cold food

The location was amazing. Given a room with a perfect view of PNC Park. Short walk to Market Square and good selection of restaurants. Came back to hotel and had drinks at the bar. Service was exceptional!

Some of the decor looked dated, but was very clean. Pool not an amenity, which is usually a great option when traveling with kids.

Starbucks in the lobby was very convenient. Friendly and helpful staff. Great view from my 21st floor room. Spacious room and comfy bed.

Price could have been better. I paid $800/night because Taylor Swift was in town. Not cool!

Disappointing food service in the bar. After a prolonged wait, had to ask a waiter for service.

Location was perfect - close to transit station and lots of restaurants. Hotel was first-class.

The price was crazy but understandable due to Taylor Swift concert. Other than that, No issues to report.

The location is great. I love the ceiling to floor windows. The bathroom was great having a stand up shower and a bathtub the robes were very convenient. Also loved the bar/restaurant in the building. Drinks were amazing. Bartenders were friendly. Food at the restaurant was very good. Price was kind of high but it was great quality so didn’t mind paying extra.

We parked under the hotel and had to walk outside and around since the area was blocked off. Made it harder carrying in luggage.

The view was nice. Location was perfect, walking distance to everything. The restaurant was nice, got a night cap with a chocolate dessert which tasted amazing.

There was a fire alarm at 3 am, which for me isn't bad to go down the 23 flights of stairs but as I was walking down I worried if there were any elderly people having to go down that many flight. I just wonder if there is a plan established for fire drills for elderly patients, or if you allow people who couldn't handle the flights of stairs to stay in a room that high up.

We came back to the Fairmont because our last experience a few months back was phenomenal. The location, friendly service cleanliness room everything on point! Very happy with this hotel!

That Floor 2 was closed yesterday ans we couldn’t eat there. Only downside
