Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Providence-Woonsocket, an IHG Hotel

Bed was comfortable and breakfast was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredible especially the front desk lady who checked me in upon my arrival On Friday night. I forgot her name but she was super nice.. she was smiling the entire time I was talking to her and answered all my questions with enthusiast gesture. I honestly loved the experience that I had there and I enjoyed it with my two little girls . The kitchen staff was unbelievably incredible. They made sure the hot trays never went empty. Overall, everything was very good,

I liked everything

Very clean. Really nice pillows and bedding - very comfortable. One of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had- BIG selection and tasty. 24-hour hot tea and coffee. Staff was super friendly and helpful. A manager came around asking how everyone was enjoying breakfast and gave us some tips on a driving route and then went out of his way to go print them out for us. Really couldn’t have asked for better. indoor heated pool and 24 hour fitness center (although we didn’t have time to just them). Also refrigerator, microwave, and keurig in room.

Wish refrigerator had a freezer. Nothing else I could ask for. Would definitely stay there again.

The front desk woman was kind, considerate, accommodating and polite. I wish I can remember her name! She was doing the job of 3-4 people (checking in guests, handling requests and issues, supplying menus of nearby restaurants etc). I needed towels and a hair dryer and she was the one who brought it to my room. And with a smile on her face! She is the main reason for my high rating.

There isn't a restaurant in the hotel. However, there is a diner in the same parking lot as hotel. Not much nearby. Everything is at least 10-15 mins away. The hotel overall can use an update in maintenance. My room door didn't have the inside level latch.

Location was ideal for attending a concert locally downtown. The hotel and the room were both clean and the furniture was very comfortable. I did not stay for breakfast as I needed to get on the road though it looked very good. I just dropped my key in the bin and left (which I like that feature- most front desks don't have that).

I was astonished to find only one clerk available when I arrived at 6PM to check in. There was myself and 1 other person checking in at the time- the other person had 3 rooms and specific requests. By the time I left there were 8 people waiting to check in, and it seemed like there was no person around for the desk attendant to ask for help. There was NO ONE at the desk when I left at 8AM, which I found extremely upsetting. The only other thing I didn't like was that there were very few food options around the local area after 9:30 PM. In my opinion the diner within walking distance I thought would be open later, not so.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and accommodating. The breakfast was ok. It was a hot one so I really can’t complain, although I’d prefer scrambled eggs and bacon. The premade omlets we’re a tad spicy, but that’s just my stomach lol. The room was decent, although there was hair in the tub. The beds were super comfy, which is a must for me in order to write a good review. Pillows were as well, and the bedding was clean. The location being next to a 50’s style diner was good (the steak tips at the diner were very good as well). It’s a busy area but you don’t hear any road noise and there weren’t any late night parties even after the Elton John concert we went to. I’d definitely stay again.

We enjoyed everything with the exception of the 2nd floor tenants.

It can be a bit uncomfortable knowing that drug addicts are also staying at the hotel on the 2nd floor. As I was leaving for the day another displaced tenant was complaining about someone smoking crack in the back are of the hotel. It does make my husband and I nervous when we visit since there is no security on the property.

We loved everything from the comfortable beds, spacious room and washroom to the pool. They had a wide selection of breakfast items-oatmeal, breads, muffins, pancakes, sausages and 2 different omelettes, fruits, dairy, fruit juices, coffee and tea. They even had lactose free milk! The place was well priced and maintained and serves as the perfect halfway house between Boston and Newport.

Breakfast was very good. Bacon almost gone...mostly because the homeless people being accommodated at hotel seem to hoard the food

Price very high....weekend rate outrageous ($300/night). Could this be because a large number of rooms are being occupied by homeless people?

1) brand new hotel 2) Entrance is very spacious and parking spots is infant of hotel 3) Cafeteria is the center in the frond desk area no need to walk around to find this facility 4) Bed is comfortable 5) Dinner is walking distance about a minute in the hotel. It is very convenient and great idea.

Hotel staff needs more friendly hotel for wheel chair and disable guests in the future. Hotel is brand new and very comfortable.

It was quiet, staff was very polite and helpful. Room was very clean and very comfortable bed.

The sink seem to have a clog water was moving very slow down the drain. And the TV was saying no signal for bout 15 mins when we first got to our room.
