Hyatt Place Mount Pleasant Towne Centre

it was in the perfect location, all the best shops and boutiques. restaurants, coffee, ice cream, almost everything you would want, and all in walking distance and only few minutes from downtown Charles and the Beach, we went to Isle of Palms Beach, we loved it and will definitely stay there again.

The only thing I didn’t like was, when I booked my stay months ago, they sent me a confirmation , that gave me the final price, and it stated what would be charged to my account and it stated includes all fees and taxes, we’ll after I checked in, I noticed my card had been charged 50.00 extra, I called the desk and they told me it was a $25 per day incidental charge and we would get it back, after we checked out and everything was okay, I have never stayed at a hotel and they charge a different price than what was already agreed on and that stated all fees and taxes and they never told me that they were charging me that extra, so waiting to see as of today no $50, dollar fee returned, so just be aware, the extra $25 per day.

We had a wonderful experience in Charleston and our stay was here was great. Very clean, comfortable beds, gym was nice, the location was perfect with walking distance to multiple food and shopping selections. Staff was helpful, check in could have been a little more welcoming. Breakfast bar was absolutely amazing to be from a hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The pool was not clean, the water was freezing and it was very unwelcoming, gave off vibes from a murder movie. Add some color to the walls and throw a few decor in there. This was the only bad part of the hotel, but obviously my child wanted to go but my older kids didn’t because it seemed creepy and not clean.

Elevator for parking deck was out of order. Our room was on 4th floor and it was raining so we finally found parking on top uncovered deck. Got luggage out just to walk it to an elevator that was out of order. We went to the stairwell and it isn't even connected to the hotel. We would have to walk 4 flights down with luggage. We absolutely didn't. We packed up the car and drove to the 1st floor entrance to unload again, left the car so we could use inside elevator and take it to the 4th floor. After I would come back down stairs to find parking. That was a bit of a hassle after a 5hr drive. This was our only complaint but we got it done.

Great location, spacious room

When we checked in they said housekeeping would be every 3 nights but didn't tell me I would have to call them to actually get service that 2 times in my stay. If you aren't going to have housekeeping come in often, please get bigger trash cans. We were informed we could place the trash outside the door but it still took 2 days for them to pick it up. Breakfast was just OK.

this hotel is in the middle of an upscale open shopping area in mount pleasant. the hotel itself was upscale and wonderful. i hadn't stayed anyplace quite like it before but i really enjoyed it. the room was clean and big enough and very comfy. parking was convenient in a garage. the experience was overall excellent and i would recommend it to anyone. i was only going to stay one night but i ended up there for two. it was great being able to walk around the shopping area from the hotel in the evening.

We absolutely liked the style of the interior, the spacious clean room. It was quiet and the beds were comfy. Several dinner options nearby. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We didn‘t get any information while checking in. Like breakfast times, check-out time, parking… not a big deal, but it‘s just nice to know all important facts about your stay. A huge deal, and the reason for only a 9 is the breakfast: it‘s just fat and sugar and everything is wrapped in plastic, served on paper plates, paper cups, plastic cutlery. Hotels have the opportunity to make a huge impact on the pollution of the planet but still produce a truck load waste every single morning with just how they serve breakfast. That‘s just not necessary.

The location was beyond excellent. We were able to walk to lunch and dinner and even shop. We had a car rental and every place we went was no more than 20 minutes from the hotel. We loved that there was breakfast every morning too!

We had a room by the elevator and the foot traffic was a bit noisy, at times, but it was nothing the TV volume couldn’t fix!

The emenites, location. Newer hotel, clean

Glass barn door light at night disturb spouse, just barn door in general. I wasn't happy paying for the room opposite the elevator, loud while other people returned to their room from 11pm till 2am, repeatedly woke up, wonder if it was because of my last name. Hard to close barn door, made me wonder if kids fingers smashed

Probably one of the cleanest hotels we stayed at. Conveniently located near a cinema, restaurants, and shopping. The beach is less than 10 minutes away. Staff was super friendly; the morning chef would come talk to people at their tables. Great coffee, breakfast options,and comfortable beds. We will definitely be staying again.

It’s centrally located inside the Town Center and convenient yo everything with great parking. Great breakfast and evening Happy Hour.

We drove through the mall/Towne Center a few times before getting our bearings and figuring out where the hotel was actually located within the complex. aThat was frustrating. The bathroom glass door “privacy” frost is NOT FUNCTIONAL.
