Hampton Inn & Suites - Hartsville, SC

Location, bang in the centre of Hartsville, could not be more perfect. We arrived early for our room and the staff went out of their way to let us check in early. Our room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom a nice big size. Breakfast was very good self service with everything you would expect. We did not leave hungry.

There was honestly nothing we did not like. there is nothing more I can add.

First off, I messed up booking the wrong room with 1 bed instead of 2 (for my dad and I). We came down from MI to watch the Nascar Darlington playoff race about 2 months ago. The manager I believe her name was Nicole? Found us a replacement room to switch out, at no extra cost. She was very helpful and working by herself. Although the city wasnt the nicest, this hotel was fantastic. Room was comfy, cozy, clean, and only about 16min. from Darlington Raceway. The staff was great. Throughout the weekend, my Dad and I would say hi to Nicole I'm passing and even joke around. Very friendly staff. They care. And it shows

Hartsville is a little rougher then I thought. Not terrible, but not great. But the hotel was still in great shape

The location is excellent. The breakfast area is beautiful and the waffles are delicious.

We were very happy with all that was offered. It was a delightful stay. Would definitely stay again. We stayed two days. The second day, no one removed the trash nor the dirty towels. We did not complain, just made do with what was there the first day.

Really nice staff - nice and clean room. Great location in the town, free parking.

The only reason I didn't give ten is air conditioning in the room that could work a little more silent.

Check in could have been misable. My booking.com reservation didn't go through on hotel end. The manager jumped in quickly gave us the room and even matched the rate. Not to mention I had to have my room connected w/another family member staying there. It was a big mess quickly resolved! Thanks managment!. The front desk girls were also friendly and sure to greet you when entering.

I feel alittle worried that my booking.com reservation didn't get recieved by the Hampton Inn.

The nice lady at the front desk upgraded us to a king suite because they needed a queen double room. The room was amazing and no extra charge.

We liked everything

The staff was incredibly friendly. Jade was there when I checked in and she was super sweet and helpful. The staff at breakfast were also very nice.

The price has gone up. But it is worth it. I would suggest decent toilet seats. They are flimsy plastic and “slide”. I had to take the caps off and tighten them.

The lady who was at the front desk on Saturday and Sunday night was very welcoming and accommodating. She brightened up our evening.
