The Mantissa Hotel

It was a central main hub location for dining and entertainment. They have a nice rooftop bar. Absolutely loved the decor, the suite was immaculate and fully functional for a quick stay or extended stay for business. White fresh crisp sheets with a sleep number adjustable bed that controls your individual comfort. Loved the sweet unique stores and quaint storefronts nearby. They offered free boxed breakfast from 6am - 10am at the Mantissa Hotel or you can go to the Hampton Suite Inn for a warm breakfast which is a block away. Staff were efficient, accommodating and friendly.

You can hear loud voices from the adjacent room. In all fairness, I believe a couple was arguing late at night.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very large with excellent facilities. Would definitely stay at The Mantissa again as its location is fantastic, the roof top bar is great too.

The only disappoinment was the lack of a decent breakfast. We had the breakfast box which was not great but were informed we could go to a nearby hotel for breakfast. We didn't want to do that.

We liked the spacious size of the rooms. You have your own bedroom and its away from the living room and kitchen area. We also liked the roof top bar, great atmosphere up there with locals and people staying at the hotel.

A few things we were disappointed in. The floors squeaked basically everywhere we walked. The back of the door handle to the bathroom was broke so wasn't doing well for operating. Some of the drink glasses were also dirty in the cabinet so had to wash them before we could use.

I love that the unit has a full kitchen and rooftop bar. The bed was very comfortable. Walkable to restaurants.

The blinds in the room was broken, there wasn’t a shelf in the shower and the rooftop bar only had 1 bartender for a saturday night.

Sofa torn and not very comfortable. Seating very low. Not easy to get out of. Makes the beautiful room look cheap! Sofa needs to be replaced! Also, there was no hair dryer (as stated there would be) in the room. They did however, remedy the situation immediately. One more thing that needs to be addressed. There is no place to put your shampoo, soap etc. in the shower besides the floor. Even if a shower caddy was added over the shower head would be better than nothing, or a waterproof table placed in the shower would work too!

Superb,convient to everything.The restaurant adjacent to the hotel was excellent.The hotel staff very pleasant.

The only thing we're the pillows.They could have been just alittle firmer.

The room was very nice for an extended stay. Two rooms with a kitchen included. Breakfast was not available at this facility as the website stated, but they provided a coupon for breakfast at another "sister hotel" within walking distance.

Love everything about Mantissa the suites are always to our liking. The staff is amazing very friendly and helpful. I refuse to stay anyplace else when visiting our son and his family in Hartsville. Would and do recommend this place to stay

Like being on the 1st floor but too close to lobby could hear things I did not need to hear

Spacious apartment, good shower, value for money.

Room wasn’t cleaned or serviced in 8 days. Noisy neighbours that you could hear clearly through the walls.

I tried to get a 1:00 pm check-in and they refused me. I arrived to Hartsville a lot earlier than expected and was hoping the hotel would accommodate but they didn't.
