Econo Lodge Belle Fourche

We have stayed many times at Econo Lodge Belle Fourche. Sometimes it is the only hotel with availability in the area (depending on our travel dates). We love the automatic pancake machine-like an easy-bake oven for adults! ;)

The elevator broke during our stay and we were on the second floor. This was fine for me because I am able bodied but for my travel companion this was not ideal (very poor endurance due to a cardiac condition so stairs are difficult and carrying luggage on the stairs is out of the question). Also as I was making reservations for some of my construction crew to get out of the severely cold weather, there was a bit of mixup about the names on the reservations and one worker actually thought he had no room but was too polite to say something…I figured it out but they also locked him out of his room even though I was assured (and paid) for an additional night. Again, minor issue but a bit of confusion wasn’t appreciated.

The overall price of the 3-night stay for a holiday weekend was fair. The staff was amazing, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel/room was good. Location was good to local stores, the Mexican restaurant next door is to die for.

Honestly, the bed is super soft but not firm. So you sink into it, haha. I am more of the person to be comfortable on a firmer mattress. The bed did not fit the headboard, so the nightstands weren't quite meshed. The only way to plug in your phone was on the left side nightstand or the counter in front of the bed.

Very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. My dog let himself out of the room when we were in the indoor pool and the staff were very understanding. The pool was clean and inviting. Long Johns for breakfast was great for my little one. There was no coffee maker in the room, but coffee was ready early in the lobby.

Room was clean, worn, but clean.

The outside was IN GREAT need of a redo. There was no green space unless the weed strip counts. The door to the stairs slammed shut. Our room was next t o the stairs

Appreciate that there was breakfast, just wish there was either oatmeal, fresh fruit and meat options.

That you were only allowed to use the pool at 930am to 930pm, if you have destinations to be at, hard to be able to use the pool in the time stated. Kids running up n down hallway, and arguing, dogs barking.

Stayed her for the Sturgis Bike event Great location Clean and very comfortable , Very accommodating to our needs Staff was friendly and always helpful The Mexican next door was great And there was even a liquor store in walking distance Highly recommend

Very nice staff. Clean lobby and room. With the short staff the whole country is experiencing we did have to wait an hour to check in. But just went to town. Was nice to see its offerings.

There was not a clock in room. No TV channel line up card. We keep lighting on in bathroom at night but fan was too loud. I asked for a night light and they gave us one😀

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. That's all I need.

The A/C clicked when it shut off. That's the only thing I could be nit-picky about.

Location was "just right", room very spacious and next to side entrance (great for bringing in pet).

Pillow case was stained but staff replaced immediately and apologized for inconvenience.

Ok breakfast. Nice staff, rooms clean. Nice location.

1 light didnt work, fan in bathroom very loud, no way to turn it off while using bathroom light.
