Quality Inn Spearfish

The hotel was absolutely wonderful, it definitely exceeded my expectations. The room was huge, we had very comfortable king size bed (pillows), that automatically came with a jacuzzi tub, so that was a pleasant surprise, it was very nice. There is plenty of counter space on the sink to lay items and get ready such as putting makeup on, fixing hair. There was nice counter space with a mini fridge and microwave, a nice wardrobe to hang your clothes, plenty of drawers. The bed was comfortable, the air worked well, everything was just great!! The hotel was right off the interstate, there was a Walmart right next to the hotel, Dollar Tree, convenience / gas station, there were a few close restaurants at the interstate. If ever traveling in that area again, we will definitely stay there. *** We drove about 5 minutes into Spearfish, there was a great restaurant called the Steerfish Steak & Smoke, of the three nights we stayed in the area we ate there twice, it was excellent.

They offered a breakfast, which we did not partake in, my husband did go one morning and check it out and said it wasn't anything spectacular. Other than that we had no complaints.

It was clean and very comfortable. I decided that Quality Inn provides excellent rooms and service for a low budget trip. We usually just stay one night in each town as we travel and QI has been a consistently good deal.

Can't remember anything bad about spearfish location.

Inside the motel was very clean and nice. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Two things they could do to improve their image. All the room doors inside were scratched from customers dragging luggage in. They should be painted. The exterior needs a little TLC. It was looking a little dingy so I was worried about it when I arrived the pleasantly surprised when I got to my room. The tub and toilet room is very small but nothing to complain about.

Great location; wi-fi connection was terrific (especially considering it's among the hills); room was comfortable, spacious, solid air conditioning, clean, etc... Competitive price.... The Atomic Pizza was a fantastic, affordable dinner choice nearby...

The pet fee was $40... That's steep --- Fortunately, the base hotel rate was low... So, overall, it wasn't too bad....

Breakfast was OK. Room was good sized. Fridge and microwave were nice to have. Check-in was good. Check-out was excellent.

Breakfast - I was hoping for more hot choices. Bathroom was tight.

the ice machine was right outside our room and the vending machines very noisy also people are not considerate to be quite for people sleeping.

My bill was at check in was not the same as what I was charged. My bill went up & $30 +from what I checked in at to what I was charged on my card

both the night attendant and morning attendant were very friendly. Our room was clean.

the toilet/tub room was very small. the tile on the floor could probably be cleaned a bit better.

Enjoyed the pool and the hot tub
