No breakfast but donuts and coffee. Bed were very comfortable, large double suite. Lots of room and a private deck.

There were two rooms above us that kept me up after I went to bed because of the noise of them walking around. The floors squeaked and they would walk around for hours. I had to sleep with my earbuds with music on most of the nights. Second floor would have been better but they didn’t have an elevator. The description of the room said it had a safe, but didn’t. The safe was located at the front desk and they didn’t know where it was and how it worked. Also it said a guest bathroom, but it really was a public toilet outside the room down the hall. The carpet had stains on it that hadn’t been cleaned up. The private deck we had to ask for a broom to sweep it off.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The setting on the back patio is beautiful and provided much needed relaxation. This is a nice quiet hotel that provides gaming, a full bar, and beautiful scenery. The rooms were clean and we appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room. We enjoyed being so close to Deadwood and having a trolly to take us to downtown Deadwood. We preferred this as opposed to staying in among the crowds right in Deadwood. I would definitely stay here again!

The only thing that could change is to provide a continental breakfast, however there was coffee and donuts provided. This did not bother us as we are not big breakfast eaters, but I could see where other travelers may want this.

Very nice friendly staff, helpful. Fun players club. We had the suite (Room 136) and it was so close and convenient on the first floor, quiet, big outdoor patio overlooking the gulch and rapid waters were soothing sounds to fall asleep if you leave windows open. Bed was comfortable, king bedroom was plenty of space. Big spacious bathroom with plenty of water pressure, a jacuzzi tub, plus nice living area (kitchen and fireplace living room), outdoor patio deck with picnic tables by the gulch water is pretty special, great for morning coffee in the sun. Boston Pizza next door was super accommodating (we placed late night carry out order just before 11pm close) with friendly staff.

AC units are very loud when running in room, the temps drop at night so we preferred to just use open windows.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff cleaned and replenished consumables daily. The property was gorgeous, with a creek and trees to be enjoyed from the patio. The price was impressive compared to other options. There was plenty of on site parking. Onsite slots, and workout room are always a plus.

Being the property is in Deadwood SD, the main attraction is gaming. The property was a distance from downtown and required a trolley ride to reach. The parking was plentiful but a bit tight. The food in the bar is good but the menu is limited and other options within walking distance is very limited. The bar staff could not make (in one case tried but fell short) some common mixed drinks.

Room was clean comfortable and quiet. All employees that we encountered were helpful and very friendly. We did not have breakfast here but did talk with a couple other guests that said it was excellent. Enjoyed the outdoor patio for morning coffee and sat out one evening and listened to the creek flow by. Love this feature to be able to be outside and not listen to traffic go by. The only downside to the patio was people coming outside to smoke.

Beds for me were on the soft side but I prefer a fairly firm mattress. Mattresses were in excellent shape though.

Perfect location for local sightseeing. Clean rooms. Very friendly and efficient staff, especially Brenda who helped book an extra day for us. Free coffee and excellent donuts for breakfast, purchased breakfast available. Trolley stop for downtown. Well supplied bathroom. Large room with a cozy side chair plus a recliner! Free parking right at our front door plus an additional exit into the casino halfway.

Room was clean and comfortable. It was serviced each day. A lot of hotels do not clean rooms or make beds daily. This one does. This is very much appreciated.

Getting to the room was difficult. It was on the second floor and there was no elevator. I am 72 years old and my sister is 81. There also was no help getting our luggage to the room. We had to haul it up long stairways ourselves.

We love the fact it is smaller the casino is attached and the staff is fantastic! 😊

The fact they got rid of the restaurant where they would give you a coupon for breakfast everyday that you stayed. As well we liked when they had the popcorn machine and $2.00 blackjack, with a coupon to play as well as they offered a $10.00 coupon/daily to play the machine if you were staying. They had more machines back then and lots of draws.

The staff were excellent and very helpful with all our needs.

Everything was great but they did not have free breakfast in morning, they had no laundry room available which makes long stays difficult, and the shower heads were low which makes it difficult for people six feet tall.

Was very happy with the comfortable beds and all the outlets for charging our electronics. Was close to a nice restaurant that had whatever meal we wanted to have. Also had a shuttle service into town so that was very convenient.

Was disappointed that we were so far away from our friends (opposite ends of resort) and :) we didn't win the the casino.
