Super 8 by Wyndham Spearfish

Rooms were comfortable and easy to access. Staff was pleasant. Bedroom size was very good. Could fit 3 twin/full beds easily or 3 queens a little tighter. Had 2 televisions and air conditioners in bedroom as well as living area. Fridge was good. Shower was hot and had good pressure.

Couch bed was not very comfortable. Breakfast was the same daily, would have liked to see a little better variety. Nothing was too terrible. Would stay there again.

Roxann at the front desk provide exceptional service. I traveled to photograph a wedding on 4/23 and got caught in a blizzard. Upon leaving an external flash fell out of my bag in my room. I was completely beyond thankful the housekeepers were honest and reported it to the front desk. Roxann was sweet enough to package it up and mail it back at it. Also — I was a bit overwhelmed having to stay in a blizzard and The front desk lady during the morning hours was super nice and made sure to tell me good morning every time I made a trip down for coffee. I was very thankful I chose this hotel to stay at.

I liked the room that I booked. It was big (3 queen beds) and had working appliances. The beds were comfortable. The room was on the first floor near the pool. I liked that the pool was open because I took my children. I liked that the pool had balls, and floaties to use in the pool. I also enjoyed the small breakfast.

I did not like that most of the pool was so deep. I did not like that the lock of the room door was a older lock system from the inside. I did not like that the heating system did not keep the room very warm. It had 2 older heating systems in there.

Breakfast was amazing and the attendant was courteous and alert to all needs. Will be switching from our usual accommodations to this hotel as we stay every month for a few days and this was very pleasant and made the trip much more enjoyable.

We stayed in a room that had a pull out bed in the separate space and inside the bed beside the arm rest we found an empty liquor/vodka bottle and used broken fake fingernails and a hair tie. Also there was no bedding so we had to go ask for that separately.

The hotel was clean. The pool area is very large! The pool itself goes to 9 ft, and there are pool toys for kids to play with. They also had a nice hot tub. The continental breakfast was simple, but also due to covid, I know many hotels are limiting what they serve. The hotel was pet friendly, and had a large grassy area for me to walk my dog. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

When I originally saw the room on booking the price for a night was about $70. When I checked out of the hotel booking.com had changed the rate to $108. I had no issues with the hotel, just with booking.com. I've never had issues like this before, so it was quite surprising and frustrating.

Carleen, the staff person who checked us in, was outstanding. Very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. She answered all our questions, provided great info on local eateries and represented both Spearfish and the hotel in an excellent manner. The facilities were perfect and all the staff were polite and professional. I was extremely pleased with this experience.

They have had the nicest staff both times we've stayed. The lady with the piercings came right away to fix our tv and was so nice and bubbly while doing that. The rooms are clean and renovated and we love the pool area even though we don't have time to use it.

We wish the breakfast had more options but some is better than none 🙂

It looked like a great place to stay for families if we didn’t have unvaccinated kids still worried about COVID. The pool and hot tub looked very inviting and there were no humidity problems like you sometimes get with an indoor pool on the main facility.

Our toilet clogged in the morning, and as none of the staff were masked we didn’t feel comfortable having someone come into our room and fix it, so we all walked down two flights of stairs to use the public restroom until we were ready to check out. No elevator.

We are great ful we got a room there, it was raining so hard and we were going to be tent camping in Sturgis, it was a really nice room and a great location.

A bit over priced, but understand its that time of year.

It was easy to find and there was ample parking

they did not have eggs or sausages or too many options if you’re on a keto diet all they had were waffles bagels cereal . Other than that everything was OK
