I liked the property. Very cool and historic. We stayed in the room that had an old safe door in it! Ceilings were very tall and grand. The kitchenette was nice even though we didn't use it. It was close to everything in town, we just walked around to various business and restaurants nearby.

The bed was a bit old an dated. The bathroom also felt a bit dingy. Could use an update. The room can get very hot in the summer there is no central AC although they did have a small window unit that helped a bit.

What an absolute gem. Very happy that I didn't book in Deadwood which looks like fun but also very touristy. The Town Hall Inn is a historical gem with each bedroom one of the rooms of the old town hall and still with the name of the room above the door. The room was really well appointed and with huge ceilings. I was in the Deliberation room and it was lovely to think of all the town discussions that took place in the room. The owners are new and are clearly dedicated to making the Inn as good as it can be. The provision of plugs and USB chargers by the bed are a perfect example. There is a bar is the basement (which used to be the police cells) with micro brewery beers that are worth visiting the Inn for on their own merit. The bartender Chris is a delight and she had that great ability to bring parties together in the bar so that you make new friends. I am traveling across the US from coast to coast and this has been one of the highlights of my trip.

Nothing. Great place to stay.

The building was beautiful. High ceilings, great bathroom and spacious room. Loved it. The staff was great too. When we came down in the morning for coffee, everything was laid out nicely. We had a great conversation with other guests and the dining area was very nice. Would recommend this Inn when traveling thru the area. Price was great too. Thank you for a great night's stay.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the place.

Felt like we were staying at our grandma’s house…in the best way possible! Clean, quant, with the perfect charm. We were given the warmest welcome by the new owners, and friendly farewell as we departed. There were just a couple facilities missing that you would find at your “typical hotel”, but that didn’t take away from it’s appeal! This place treated us as family, and I’d choose that over a popular hotel chain any day.

Walls were pretty thin, so could hear a lot of commotion (fans were provided to accommodate!) Overall, i’d say it was a quiet stay:) Can’t hardly complain about it this place, and it’s customer service!

We were on a road trip and wanted to stop in and check out Deadwood. We wanted to stay in a historical place but not where there are a lot of crowds. When our room was ready, the owner texted and wanted to know when we planned to arrive to make sure we made it into the inn and got our room. He made sure he was there to greet and helped us with our suitcase. Breakfast was very simple with some homemade muffins and fruit. The mattress wasn't the most comfortable, but it is a great place to stay. Sizable fridge and microwave and the rooms are very spacious. I cute stay with a short way to get to Deadwood.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable and the a/c wasn't very strong. However, it is an old building, so I felt like it was well done overall.

Location was perfect for finding places to explore. We stayed right in lead and didn't go into deadwood, and met some wonderfully nice people. Mark had great suggestions as did the other guests we met.

It's a quiet little town, so if you are wanting a lot to do, it's limited.

We especially loved how quiet this property was . No people running the halls or doors slamming :) The mattress was memory foam (I intend on researching these now to replace my own) There was an assortment of pastries and fruit with coffee, orange juice and water each morning . Our room was huge , we had a need for an additional small table to work on a laptop which they provided right away. Communication was fantastic . I received a text early the day of arrival asking for ETA and if I needed early check in that was possible . I was able to text with staff for any other needs the entire stay with quick replies. Will definitely consider staying again if ever in the area .

Nothing with the Inn , but because the lack of staff in town the restaurants are closed by 8 and stores close by 4 in the downtown strip.

I loved that the building has a rich history. The antiques were beautiful & all the amenities of a chain. Mini fridge, ice machine, microwave,& coffee pot . Very clean. Staff knows your name due to limited rooms. A bonus in my book. Breakfast was a typical grab & go but all fresh & tasty.

Difficulties parking due to the nature of town. Ample parking below & behind the motel. Not an issue for me but for some it may be a concern

Lovely old Town Hall. Excellent location. Lovingly maintained with antiques. Sue, the proprietor, was very kind and helpful. Catherine at the downstairs pub was wonderful too. The ambiance, staying in the library of the former Town Hall, was so cool. The Inn was very clean. Nice continental breakfast provided and 2 drink coupons at the pub! Just a lovely stay.

The building is a great historical piece of architecture and is well presented and very interesting. The lady who was helping us was lovely and we gave us lots of information. The room was great the bed was extremely comfortable.

The only down side was the breakfast as there was little on offer that wasn't sweet, and as someone who can't have sugar, there was only coffee available.
