Motel 6-Bristol, VA

So, this is a great value location. Please don't stay here if you think you are going to get the Hilton or something for $60-$80 per night. You have to be realistic - it is a Motel 6. These guys were excited to leave a light on for you, as the "extra" they offered. Now, that said, the place was very very clean and well maintained. The typical economy hotel, with things like a plastic insert shower (versus tub and tile), thin toilet paper, rougher-than-usual towels, etc. Definitely function-over-form, but that is why you stay in a Motel 6, right? You need a cheap place to lay your head, get cleaned up, and get on your way. And they do a GREAT job at it. Got my shower, got in a comfortable bed, slept well, smooth check-in and out, no hassles, no worries. Would definitely stay here again to get refreshed and travel on.

No real complaints, actually. The parking lot is shaped a bit funny, which makes you have to walk a bit further than what should be necessary - but, that is me really stretching to find something to fault. Really, it's a cheap hotel that is very well done. Kudos.

Everything was fresh & clean. The parking lot very well lit at night. Pet friendly. Motel 6 met my needs just about perfectly. Just needed a place to stop & sleep for the night to continue traveling the next morning. This was perfect, right off the Interstate. Food & Coffee & Fuel nearby.

The only thing that would have pleased me more is : It would have been nice if the Air conditioning would have been on in the room and set to a comfortable temperature when I arrived. It was a warm day & it took a while for the room to get comfortable.. but it did and the stay there was pleasant and met my needs for the night.

This hotel was perfect as a quick, late-night stay between DC and Atlanta. It was clean and in a safe area. There were plenty of places to get food, and the front desk clerk was cheerful and welcoming.

It was a little pricey for what you got. You are provided towels, a bar of soap, and toilet paper and that is about it. No hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, or coffee in the room. They did provide coffee in the lobby, but for the price we paid we expected more perks.

The location was perfect easy to get to..walmart right across the rd which I'd nice when ya forget things lol ... easy drive to downtown bristol and a must see abingdon!! All the employees was incredibly nice and informative!!! Room was perfect amount of space!! We will definitely be back..hopefully sooner rather than later!! I'd highly recommend staying here!!

The location and accommodation with our dogs and was super clean!

The young man at front desk! Very rude !!!! He didn't want to answer questions or even tell me his name! Very put out that we arrived!! He needs a talking too!! Don't want him to loose his job but he sure certainly needs to be more welcoming and polite! And be Respectful to customers!!!

It was the cleanest motel we have ever stayed in. The staff was excellent and I have to honestly say that I will stay at this particular motel anytime I am in the area.

Honestly only thing I didn't like was the tv kept going in and out but I don't think it was the motels fault I think it was just the cable.

The gentleman at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed and was very nice. He honestly should train every hotel clerk. The room was neat and clean with no carpet on the floors, which feels super clean. We were both surprised that a Motel 6 was more like a modern 3 star hotel. There are a variety of pillow thicknesses so you can find just the right one.

Doors slamming as guests came in late woke us several times.

So Motel 6 gets a bad rap sometimes for being below standard, not so at all. This was the first time I have stayed there and we chose it because we are traveling with our dog and they dont charge you stupid amounts to bring them along. It was simple and clean. They are environmentally cautious and dont put all the "little" stuff everywhere that ends up in land fills and oceans. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and fresh coffee. It is now my go to place to stay when we travel

It was hot in the corridors, but I get it. They are conserving energy so not really an issue at all I guess

The location was great anything you needed was right there close.

Spilled coffee on the bed sheet left covers down for maid service to see and they didn't change the sheets . Bads are a little hard

No breakfast was available I presume because of Covid. I was very impressed with the cleanliness throughout the property. The property is very close to a busy area, but about a block off major roads. It was very quiet. We slept till 9 AM and never heard early risers showering or closing doors. That's quiet!

Maybe a Grab and go breakfast for the road.
