La Quinta by Wyndham Chattanooga - Lookout Mtn

The room was very clean and comfortable. We were provided fresh towels each day. Free parking and easy access to both downtown Chattanooga and the touristy attractions. The hotel is also pet friendly.

The breakfast was pretty basic. There was a pancake machine, powered eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, bagels and white bread for toast. There were instant grits and oatmeal packets, yogurt and assorted juices, coffee and tea. It was all processed foods and the only fresh fruit was some sad looking apples. We ate it each day as it's nice to save a few bucks on breakfast if you can. Especially, if you have kids.

Location was clean and close to all the things we wanted to do.

The lady who is there in the morning is very nice and helpful, but the one who is there in the evening is there if you need something, doing her job, but she glares at you, and is somewhat unfriendly. Satellite TV kept going out, and our keys stopped working the second evening into our three day stay. Had to go all the way back down to front desk from our fourth floor room to get them working again. The bed was horrible. That is why there is a low score for comfort. I had to go buy a body pillow to be able to sleep in that bed. If you like sleeping on a firm board, it's good. If you want soft and comfy, comfy is not what we got in the two double beds. Don't know about king size.

the location was great & the price was exceptional. the cleanliness & complementary breakfast was exemplary!

one of the reasons we booked this hotel was because of the price & the fact that it had a pool. we were not informed that the pool was not accessible, but when we went to ask for assistance to get into the pool, we were told it was supposed to be open now, but wasn’t able to be used due to delayed service of the pool people not coming to vacuum out the bottom of the pool. we were disappointed that we were not informed prior nor was there any signage letting us know the pool wasn’t open yet. also, there should be separation of rooms or soundproof rooms for those who bring pets & those who do not. there were several times where dogs would go crazy barking in the middle of the night, & we would hear it in our room.

This is a very nice hotel with a great staff. Stayed two nights here on our road trip to check out Chattanooga a bit. What a beautiful city, and this was a convenient place to stay to get around. Nice staff and safe area.

It is near the freeway and across from a big truck gas station, so be prepared for a little road noise now and again. We don't really care mush about that as long as it gets quiet at night (which it does) but some of those trucks are REALLY loud and could disturb people who are more sensitive to that sort of thing.

The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was courteous and helpful. The location is just a short drive from all the major points of interest.

My only major con for this property was the breakfast. One of the reasons I chose this property was the “ American “ breakfast. My wife and I travel several times a year and love a nice hotel breakfast before starting our day. The breakfast offered was rather sparse and quite honestly didn’t taste all that great. There is room for improvement here.

It’s in a convenient location about halfway in our yearly travels from Texas to Pennsylvania. However, there are a lot of hotels in the area. We choose this La Quinta because it is exceptionally clean and the staff is always professional and friendly. Another bonus is the dog park and a convenient first floor room. My dog likes this hotel and leads us to the last room we stayed in. We explain the room next door is the same and he is fine. So La Quinta is poodle approved.

I love the room itself. The breakfast was definitely a plus. Its always so good. I love that they allow animals. Parking is easy and its right across the street from a gas station. Awesome stay

The washer and dryer was broke. So the lady at the front desk let me put my stuff in their big dryer that they use and when I came back to get my stuff out. All my clothes had white stains on them as if it was fabric softener or soap. I have still yet to get it our. .

Everything except for the front desk staff.

Our room keys quit working, and when locked out of our room upon our return one evening, the front desk was unmanned for what seemed to be a long time with two sleepy babies in hand. They put a sign that said someone would return soon. We called the hotel to see if someone might be able to send a staff member to the front desk, but the call went straight to the empty front desk.

The location is very nice with a 24-hour QT gas station right across the street (perfect for late night snacks or drinks). I also liked how this hotel is dog friendly and even has a small dog park!

Bring dog friendly, I understand there can be some dog fur in the rooms. But I saw globs/little piles of dog fur stuck to couch pillows. I’d probably bring a lint roller next time I go to a dog friendly hotel.

The place overall was AWSOME so clean and it was close to all the places we wanted to visit! We were very satisfied with our stay

The woman at the desk at check in was rude and could not find my name for the reservation and acted like it was I was a fault cause she could not find my name and she had my ID and still did not know my name even after I should her my conformation number finally she found my name and did not apologize for taking 15 min to do so she needs to be trained better to do her job
