Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chattanooga-Hixson, an IHG Hotel

Our bed was so comfortable. The room was clean and convenient to the Front desk. It was close to all the stuff we like to do..We love to go to the antique malls.My husbad loves to look around at the Gun store next door.There are so many shops close by.Great places to eat.The breakfast at the hotel is awesome so many different things to eat.There has to be something to please everyone. They even bake cookies and have them there to treat everyone with as well.There is hot water always available for hot tea and hot chocolate to have with your cookies.They usually always have coffee ready as well..

I didn't like that we had to leave so soon.

The location was perfect. Located in the middle of great restaurants. Close to recreational activities for entire family!

The heated pool was colder than usual and the heat in the indoor pool room was like a sauna apparently trying to compensate for the colder pool temperature. it doesn’t work that way. The hotter the room temperature makes it hard to breath in such a humid atmosphere and it doesn’t make it better by having to swim in such colder water. The children’s lips started turning blue and they were shaking ferociously from the cold water after only about 10 minutes of swimming! The whole reason for choosing this hotel was the indoor heated pool.

I liked how comfortable the room was that I stayed in. It was clean and quiet. I also really liked the lady that was working that night, I didn't catch her name though, but she was very sweet and accommodating and answered all of my questions that i had! And the breakfast was really really good and there was so many choices for breakfast too!

The 1 and only little thing that was a little bit of an issue was the parking. But where you are located I can see where it would almost be impossible to add more parking so I'm not sure what the solution could be?

The front desk staff, when I arrived and departed, were lovely and kind. The bed was so comfortable, and hotel towels are my favorite. I was able to have my tow and uhaul parked in two spots comfortably. I like the heating system controlling it on the wall. The size of the room was great, and the TV service. I like that the keurig was available. I do not drink coffee, only tea and hot chocolate.

The tub needs to be glazed. It was rust stain on the tub floor. Hot chocolate should be an option at the front desk offered.

Front desk younger lady was so very nice. Beds where comfortable. Breakfast better than most. Pool area was clean and warm. Loved the double black out shades.

Not hotels fault, but whomever was up above us sounded like herd of elephants off and on all during the night. Thermostat fan didnt run constant so didnt have any type of white noise so we ended up going to store to by a box fan. But that's just cause we are all use to sleeping with the noise of a fan. Lol.

It was clean and comfortable. We had a nice stay..We were busy visiting and shopping most of our stay.What time we spent at the Hotel was relaxing and the staff was very friendly and helpful..The area is perfect for shopping and convenient to anywhere you wanna go. We had a great stay.

I didn't like my room key wouldn't work..I think my phone being next to it erased it..I just had to go to the front desk and in less than 5 minutes the nice lady had it reprogrammed an I was in my room.

We got in late, around midnight, and didn’t sleep in or eat breakfast the next morning. We were packed up and leaving at check out time. The hotel was quiet and very clean. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice. The staff in the hall way the next morning screaming at each other was another story… we were on the first floor and they were yelling from one end of the hallway to the other at each other, someone even knocked on our door and yelled “housekeeping” and we had the do not disturb sign on the door. Our friend stayed on the 4th floor and he said they did the same thing up there. People go to hotels to relax, not to be woken up or annoyed by the hotel EMPLOYEES.

Breakfast was great! Good selection! Loved the location as well! Staff was super nice and friendly! Lots of places to eat close by! Looks like they have been doing some updates. Newer tile in shower and countertop and mirror looked new. Loved the mini fridge and microwave.

Hot tub is permanently out of order. Pool had some issues with the door/key card access.

Holiday Inn Express always has the best breakfast. I note that this location also had a swimming pool, and it looked clean. Would have prepared for that if it had been easier to see on their website. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My license still is still from the same area as the Holiday Inn Express I stayed at - and I had to pay the extra deposit for staying locally - even though I traveled from another state to get there. Never occurred to me to have an extra 200$ available for that possiblity - I simply needed a hotel for one overnight in a city I used to live in. I know I will get that money back - it's just frustrating.

It was conveniently located to Erlanger Hospital as well as many restaurants and shopping facilities Staff was amazing! Breakfast is offered with sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, eggs, and even cinnamon rolls.

The back entrance is never locked so anyone can walk in with out a key and the back entrance and hallway floors are dirty.
