Moxy Chattanooga Downtown

I've stayed here twice and love it. The bar is great with lots of seating and a nice patio too. Feels very social for a hotel. The staff is excellent and incredibly friendly. Overall, it feels like a sophisticated hostel more than a hotel, with an upscale bohemian vibe.

Room was clean but there were some splashes on the wall near the bed (spilled coffee?) that hadn't been wiped. I've stayed in a single queen and in a 2 queen room, and the 2 queen was a really neat setup, but small, so you wouldn't want to share a room unless you're comfortable sharing a small space.

THE MOXY. I went here for a special day with my partner & the day couldn’t have gone better. When I arrived to the self parking ( you pay for parking at check-in) of the Moxy; I notice the modernity and brightness. Check-in was easy, smooth, & they complemented us with Bar tokens for a drink redemption :)). Main floor is sooo nice, modern, & very clean. The elevator doesn’t move if you don’t have your room key, which is nice & safe!! When I booked my room, I asked for a city view that was granted, the room furnish is so refreshing to see than your typical hotel inn. the bathroom is implemented so nicely. The only thing I was bummed out about was the room not having a fridge in my room. overall, I recommend this place. I plan to come again.

Lovely hotel, really cool and modern, with many perks and quirks. You get a free drink on the house and coffee, tea and water are free and available all day. You pay for the parking but it's relative secure. Rooms are very cool, probably small by American's standards but for Europeans are absolutely fine. There is also a cafe from which you can buy breakfast in the morning. Very close to the Chattanooga Choo Choo and loads of cool dining options.

Perfect location. Loved the hotel! The decor was so cool and loved the laid back vibe. The room was also super nice. Some reviews I read complained about the rooms being too small but the website is very clear in the sizing of the rooms. They do run small but I was expecting that. Not sure I would have enjoyed the size if I had stayed more than a couple of days but it was perfect for a weekend trip. The bathroom was really nice as well. I also appreciated not having to wait a long time for the elevator. Will definitely want to come back.

The bed slept uncomfortably for me but I think that was due to the pillow. If I had brought my own I probably would have slept better.

location is right in the heart of Chatanooga, a nice pizza place by the name of Goodfellas across the parking lot. There was also a brewery there, if you are interested in that. I loved the lobby and the games that were available. Loved the creativity and how cozy the rooms were. I got a hostel vibe with the sense of privacy, really cool vibes if you are young.

Blankets could've been a bit nicer. sometimes the noise outside can get a tad bit loud. Parking was a bit limited and was the most annoying part of my stay. The goodfellas pizza shop can get a bit loud on friday or saturday nights.

I liked the funky vibe but not feeling excluded. The staff were so amazing and welcoming and helpful and fun. I especially appreciated a later check out with large lockers for suitcases to be stored after checkout so I could continue to tour the city for a few hours before heading to the airport. The food at the bar was delicious.

This hotel has very friendly staff with a unique theme and design. Really fun and upbeat atmosphere. I would describe it as young European hipster vibe. There's plenty of places for hanging out in the lobby with a bar, pool table, and several games. As for the room, perfectly quiet and dark if you want to sleep in. The shampoo and conditioner are really nice! Yes, I'm one of those who judges a hotel by the toiletries. * 😉 And oh, the shower!! Very nice design with the train shower head and shower wand duet.

Rooms were very small. I guess what you pay for is the downtown boutique European style hotel experience.

There were many areas to hangout. What a fun hipster vibe hotel. We loved the outside patio area. The shower and lighting under the bed was great also. Got a free drink chip on the way in too. Getting around was easy with the shuttle bus or by foot.

No balcony or windows for fresh air.

Central city location with ample and safe parking. Hotel felt safe. Cool minimalist rooms and super clean bathroom. Coffee bar was fun and had great java and breakfast treats. The girls working there were super nice and certainly had the Southern friendly turned on. Fun games and outdoor lounging areas.

As seniors, the desk staff seemed a bit unaccustomed to older folks. We certainly felt like old timers in a hipster hangout.

Breakfast I did not get , but the hotel was awesome. You got two free tokens for whatever and I did have some one take my coffee and muffins but the front desk was happily to repay me to get another coffee and two muffins.
