Hyatt Place Nashville Airport

Great breakfast. The room was very nice. Comfortable bed. We thought from the website that there was a restaurant on-site. It was expensive to have food delivered locally.

The one guy at the desk was not very concerned about taking care of us and asking if we needed anything. He was very hard to understand when he did talk to us. Everyone else was great. There was a mix-up with calling the $10 shuttle bus to downtown the first day which made us late getting our day started, but it all worked out.

This property is really close to the airport. We stayed here to enjoy our last day in Tennessee at Nashville and to fly out the next morning. We had a very spacious room with a king size bed, a kitchenette area and a nice small sectional couch. Love the layout of the room. Great hotel with great staff and very clean.

I am giving this hotel a nine because when I went to get into the bed, the fitted sheet had a quarter sized old brown stain on it. Despite that, I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay there again. .

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The amenities were on par with what we've come to expect from Hyatt properties. The price, at the time of our stay, I'd call a bargain. Staff was friendly and accommodating of our late arrival (after midnight). Very convenient to the airport and I-40.

Not the hotel's fault but on the day of our visit a crew began clearing the hillside next to the property so we were woken up earlier than hoped-for by chainsaw noise. The only other nit I'd pick is the couch in the room was looking slightly threadbare on some cushions.

The location was great for everything we wanted to do, staff were friendly, room size was perfect, breakfast was decent, and it was nice to have the bar available. It was a quiet property and even with being on the top floor we had no issues with airplane’s flying close overhead.

Breakfast could use some change up so it’s not the same things every single day, we were there 4 nights and after a few it starts to not be appetizing. Beds being doubles instead of Queens make it a tight fit for 2 people and the one bed is so close to the AC it blocks the airflow and ends up being cold in that one area and warm in the rest of the room.

Smooth check in and excellent staff. Comfortable beds in clean modern room. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with a variety of items (Scrambled eggs, sausage, corned beef hash etc.) Room was clean and comfortable. The rest of the hotel common areas were clean, well lit and well maintained. Only a few minutes to the airport via shuttle/rideshare. Plenty of fast food options nearby for a quick meal.

Hot breakfast buffet was OK. Facility dated. Room was OK. Elevator did not work. Late arrival. Booked only because of location and airport shuttle. Shuttle did not show up as promised (contracted service - not hotel) and we were stranded at the airport at midnight for a couple of hours then had to take a very expensive taxi for the one mile ride to hotel. Upon complaining the next morning the Manager reimbursed us for the taxi fare and was over the top in apologizing. If the hotel has one thing going for it, it is the Manager's attitude toward his guests and his over the top willingness to please.

Breakfast was good, room was clean...but it looked as though the sheets had not been changed from the last guest. We usually stay at Hyatt Places near airports when traveling from St. Thomas Virgin Islands where we live. Typically our flights arrive very late and we know we can get something to eat and drink when we arrive. Staff there was very helpful.

Bed looked as though it had been slept in and sheets not changed from previous guests. Lots of hair on the bottom sheet. Smelled like the sheets had been used by someone who smokes. We arrived on a late flight and got to the hotel after midnight. Too late to complain and had an early next morning as we were there for my father-in-law's funeral

Breakfast had limited selection, but was good. There was fresh coffee available in the lobby for free throughout the day. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable for the most part. Our flight didn't leave until late afternoon and the hotel provided free luggage storage after checkout. The room was clean, beds comfy. It was quiet at night and I didn't hear other guests.

It was difficult to request a shuttle from the airport the first night. No one answered the phone. After I called 4 times, I called the reservations number who then transferred me back to the hotel. Carpet in room was stained. The information for the hotel on booking.com made it seem like the airport and downtown shuttle were both free, but the downtown shuttle was $10 per person round trip.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, especially the cleaning staff, such sweet people. Rooms were just the right size and comfortable. Breakfast that was offered was good with a nice variety.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was an additional charge made to my card for $329, that was not listed or foretold when booking the room. When I brought it to the attention of management they didn't really offer an explanation as to why I was charged the extra $, all they said was it would remain pending for a few day and then would return to my account, after Check out. However, it still has not been refunded. This cut us short on spending money for our vacation because I was unaware of it.

The staff were great! And very helpful. Overall, the room was fine. But there were a few spots that seemed to be missed by the vacuum and the full length mirror on the bathroom door was dirty. Not huge concerns, but mentionable. The room was very comfortable.
