Motel 6-Addison, TX - Dallas

As Motel 6’s go, this is the golden standard. Reasonably clean and a few blocks away from the highway (!!!), as well as being lowkey kind of huge so if there’s not an event in town you’re probably not gonna have to deal with noisy neighbors. It’s classic motor inn vibes here with whitewashed walls and outward-facing doors which i prefer if i’m gonna stay in a cheap motel; who wants to have to navigate a stinky hallway and wait for a scary elevator while a tweaker shuffles up and begins to mumble at you? not me, so the addison motel 6 is just fine and dandy with me.

There was a kitten in the parking lot that ran away from me, but then another man was able to get it to come to him, and i guess this isn’t a complaint about Motel 6 as much as it is about the Universal Cat Distribution System. I don’t actually have any complaints about the actual motel.

I most like the size of the room about 32m2 or 344 square feet; it has mini fridge and microwave. The location is great; it helps a lot because the motel 6 is located in a very central part of Belt Line Avenue, near everything. The room was very clean and the staff of cleaning is available to do a cleaning when you need.

In general, I liked everything however, I would have liked the pool to be open but I understand it is for safety due to covid-19 restrictions. One suggestion is to implement the space for washing and drying with more machines, in this way you can generate additional income and the clients would have greater comfort by not having to go out looking for a laundry to wash their clothes.

The staff here is very professional and willing to help. I stay here often and they always greet me with a smile. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the house keeping is always punctual and friendly.

The vending machines can be a bit tricky. The items sometimes get caught up. The other side of this though is that sometimes you can get a bonus item.

The staff here is wonderful. They always go beyond expectations when they have helped me with my questions and reservations. The room service is always on time and friendly.

The vending machines are a let down as the items tend to not fall off the track once paid for resulting in a double payment to receive your sour patch kids or Doritos.

it was a great experience from the beginning the check in process went smooth and quick staff was friendly. My room was in a great location close to the pool which was so big and very nice to swim in. I had a patio that looked to the pool. The place was quiet I enjoyed my stay and I will defiantly be returning with the kids. Thank you motel 6

The rooms were clean the only concern I had is the water bugs and roaches under the restroom sink I saw a few scared the crap out of me

I never had any breakfast or used the pool but I really liked the friendliness of the staff. I really appreciated the cleanliness the cleaning lady provided and the gentleman who I encountered at the front desk was always most cordial. The privacy was great and outside noises minimal and I would not only revisit this motel in the future but highly recommend anyone else doing so also!

It would have been cool when I checked in to have been given a little map of the property or been told what was open and what was not and how to get to the laundry room and all of that lol. I was there for 4 days before I ever saw the swimming pool. That's on me I guess I'm not much of an explorer but in any way that may have been a little helpful but overall I'm very pleased with my experience there.

Pool was beautiful and inviting; room was spacious; bed comfortable; A/C worked great; coffee hot and delicious; microwave and refrigerator; hardwood floors; location; amazing restaurants within walking distance! I like checking crime online in new places and was relieved to find this area is safe. We felt comfortable to walk around everywhere seeing the sights and enjoying the nights.

Location is great places to eat and shop. TV had good quality channels and it was very quiet. Bed was comfortable with enough bedding for the season.

Well the water pressure in the shower wasn't the greatest and it was not during a peak time. No blow dryer in the bathroom or a coffee maker in the room, everything else was just fine.

... Booking.com reservation said a stove top would come with my room but it didn't and i had bought food before checking in which i couldn't take back. ... Booking.com reservation also said a refrigerator would come with room but it was a Mini fridge and so the frozen food i bought before checking in in lost because the mini fridge freezer section only fits for mini ice cube tray. TV came with over 100 channels but no paper guide was available and the remote guide button wouldn't work so had to constantly change channels to find something i wanted to watch. ... i also found it odd that the bathroom had an exhaust vent but no switch to turn it on.

There is no breakfast

Theirs one particular gentlemen that works at the front desk that did things that I didn’t like & I let him know I didn’t like or respect the safety of that he was doing & choose to do it anyway. Didn’t ask for my ID & tried to verify me but my debit card.
