AC Hotel by Marriott Austin-University

I loved the “Hipster Vibe” and modernist decor. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone was very helpful, especially the gentleman that helped me get out of the car garage.

I was not informed that Breakfast was available for hotel guest. The exit from the car garage was not explained. I had turned in my hotel card key that was being asked for to exit.

Sensational customer service at the front desk.

Very nice room, very comfortable, good lighting, blackout blinds. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Nice shower and bathroom

Small room, no makeup mirror, extremely bright when the blinds are up so you can't watch the TV.

The property was very close to UT campus. It was very easy to walk to all our scheduled meetings.

We had asked for an upper floor, but were not able to be accommodated. We also asked to be in a room away from the major construction on the property next door, and were not able to be accommodated on that either.

We enjoyed our stay at the AC Hotel. Very clean and extremely comfortable beds!

Loved everything!

The king sized bed was extremely comfortable, and the black out curtains worked (almost too) well! Great shower. Friendly accommodating staff.

The location wasn't ideal for us as we didn't actually need to be near the university - we spent most of our time down by the river, South Congress, or East 6th. There weren't many restaurants or coffee shops that interested us in close/walking proximity to the hotel, so we relied on the Lime scooters to get to dining destinations!

The location is perfect and very central. It is close to UT so it is convenient for us. The staff is very nice, polite and thoughtful. We had an amazing stay at this hotel.

The only problem: there is no small refrigeretor to put some cold water or juice. Austin have a very hot weather( 38 or 39 degrees! ) so it coud be convenient to have access to a refrigerator in the room.

First of all- you’re right across from a Chick-fil-A. That’s a win right there. They have valet parking or a big parking garage connected to the hotel. Check in was great- the hotel is beautiful when you first walk in- and the front staff was incredibly helpful. They even found us a room so we could check in a little early. Rooms were spacious and clean- and the bathroom was very nice. Check out the rooftop bar at the adjoining hotel! Great views and great drinks!

This is an exceptional hotel with the best location. In the heart of downtown, surrounded by so many good restaurants and cafes. You can walk to UTA campus in two three minutes. JW hotel is almost around the corner. The hotel has a European feel to it. Everything is new and immaculate! I could rate it 10 out of 10, but the entry to the hotel is a bit tricky. When you enter the door with the AC Hotel sign on it, you don’t see the AC hotel receptionist there. You must take the elevator to the second floor to check in... The first floor belongs to Otis hotel. Once you figure it out everything else is just beautiful.
