Extended Stay America Suites - Austin - Downtown - Town Lake

The location was very good.

The breakfast wasn't a breakfast--there was coffee, granola bars and some packaged muffins.

Before reading the reviews, I was a little scared to check into the room. I expected the staff to be rude, and the room to be dirty. Nothing like that happened - all staff I talked to was nice and helpful. The room was ready and clean. The hotel's location is excellent - it's very near to Downtown. There's no w\d in the unit, but if you buy a washing powder, you can wash your clothes in the hotel's laundry. It's easy, and you can pay it from your phone - no change needed. I stayed there for 6 nights - and for the price, the room was good.

It was close to lots of tourist sites. We were able to go to the bats within minutes. We even were down the street to the mini golf. Over all good location.

The water pressure was pathetic. We may as well been in the rain. The water wasn't hot either. The fridge made lots of noise that was like a loud tapping all night. Which we kept waking up from.

I have privacy, and the staff are kind and helpful and accommodating when in need. It feels like home away from home. There is no interruption or people being noisy. The downtown area is convenient. The main bus line is near. I can focus on my career move here. I Thank God for Extended Stay, especially in the downtown area.

I would like to book on a week bases, but I think it is too high for me.

Very convenient location with easy access to the entertainment, eating, and drinking locations around Barton Springs, 6th street, etc. Lots of electric scooters available to hop on nearby, making it quite fast and cheap to get around downtown.

It's hard to put anything here. For the price we paid, we got what we expected. It was clean, the showers worked well, and the beds were comfortable. You don't stay here for luxury accommodation. You stay here because it's centrally located.

The property was in close proximity to our destination. Downtown was within a short walks distance as was plenty of eating establishments.

I wish there was a couple more pillows on the bed but I’m sure they would have accommodated that if we would’ve asked. Also, the “grab and go” breakfast was gone less than an hour after they said it started and was not refilled.

The room for a single was extremely spacious and had great amenities. I chose this place for it's proximity to Town Lake where the 4th of July fireworks were going to be, and for how close it was to downtown. I did not partake in the breakfast offered because I was more about going out and about for my meals.

Location is so convenient, right by the park and downtown, walking distance. Staff is quite friendly. Room is clean.

The website state there is breakfast, but there is no breakfast due to "new management". It is ok not providing breakfast, just say so on the website so people can plan accordingly. Also the pots we had to asked for were in such bad shape that inside non-sticky painting was peeling off, and screws on the handles on those pots were very loose. You have to ask for additional soaps and shampoos which they only provide one of each.

Comfortable two-star room with kitchenette, full-size refrigerator. Great location to walk across river to downtown Austin. Safe and adequate, excellent value for this central location. Free parking.

Desk is only semi-staffed. Hotel not quite in disrepair, but sliding downward. There are fancier places, but this can meet the needs for a lot less money.

The room was clean and very comfortable with both a kitchen, a table, and a desk. It is located not too far of a walk from downtown. Most of the staff is very polite and happy to help. Overall, I had a wonderful stay.

There was no shampoo/conditioner in my room, but this can be requested at the front desk.
