Cedar Creek Inn

I made a late reservation due to a major brand economy motel that was disappointing in the very . The staff had no problem getting me checked in and to my room very quickly. The owner was very hospitable and knowledgeable of how to run a motel. I have traveled a bit over the yeats and have found that usually the smaller properties are run down and not well maintained. This property was just the opposite of what I expected. The rooms are spacious, clean and feel like a higher end motel. I have family in the area and will definitely be recommending Cedar Park Inn to anyone that may be traveling to the area.

The only thing I was concerned with was the location, then I started mapping out things that I needed or wanted to do in the area and realized that for the comfort and hospitality, I didn't really mind having to drive a tiny bit further. This may be my go to place to stay from now on when traveling to Central Texas.

What a charming little motel! A great find for those of us on a budget. The exterior is beautiful and well maintained. The room I had was pristine and NO smell of cigarette smoke, a great big plus! The bed was perfect and I slept like a rock (which I’m usually up & down all night). Refrigerator freezer and microwave in the room. Very quiet and safe as the rooms are nestled behind the office and very private. We usually stay in Burnet when in this area but, having found this jewel we will be staying in Burtram for now on, just 10 minutes east from it. Happy Travels!

I cannot say that this is a negative mark against the motel but there we’re not coffee maker in the rooms but there is a convenient store within walking distance. It would be a huge upgrade for the motel if they put comforters in each room because bedspreads are way out of date. However, the stay was fabulous anyways.

No breakfast was offered, although there was coffee in the lobby. Susan at the front desk was very friendly. For my purposes, which was to spend time at Balcones Canyon Wildlife refuge, the location was exceptional.

I booked through Booking.com which had a better rate than the Motel website. My preference is always to book through the primary motel website, but the price of the motel's website was about $30 more than booking.

Clean facility. Easy walk to yummy italian food. Easy drive to my Spartan race. Staff was friendly. Easy to check in.

Bath towels pretty small. Cable box would turn off but TV would not so it glowed at night. Also channel wouldn’t change so it was stuck on FX channel (not a bad channel to be stuck on). Not that big a deal since it was a short stay and I wasn’t in the room a lot. I would have notified staff if staying longer.

First time staying here. Was a little nervous with it being in a small town. Facility was nice and the Manager was exceptionally. Was very engaging and reminded me what good old fashion customer service is about

Staff was friendly and very outgoing. Rooms were very clean and sanitized.

Only issue that we really had was that bed was up way to high and it was difficult "for short people" to get into.

Close to things we were going to. Price was ok. Liked that it didn’t have carpet and was spacious. It’s a clean but older motel. Staff was very friendly.

Linens were very worn and some dingy but they were clean which was the most important. The second night it sounded like furniture was being moved and neighbors were loud till almost midnight.

The floor was actually washed & you could smell the cleaning products used. Bed & room comfortable- heat/ air conditioning, refrigerator all worked. Good place to stop.

No down side.

Great little motel for a weekend get-a-away. Close to Longhorn Caverns, Burnet & Marble Falls. Enjoyed our stay.

Furniture in room is outdated and it would have been nice if the property had a swimming pool.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the manager was exceptional. Susan went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

There was nothing I didn't like!
