Comfort Inn Conroe

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, from Micaela and all the people working the reception desk. The housekeeping staff was also very thorough. The facility is dated and it starts to show but everything worked and the bed was comfy, the room was large and it included a mini fridge and a working clean microwave oven. Very pleased for the most part. The pool outdoors was fine and it looked clean. I enjoyed using the chair and swim a little also.

The breakfast was not what I expected. It says that it is continental, then not bad. However I also saw the word American breakfast, then eggs and other hot goodies to be expected. The fried eggs were from pouch or previously frozen, not familiar with that presentation and pretty flavorless. Waffle maker was fine but no toaster or bread.

Excellent customer service. The hair dryer in my room shorted out within a minute of turning it on. I told the front desk about it as I was leaving for the day and by the time I returned, a new hair dryer had been installed. Super responsive!

I tried to have breakfast the first morning and a young teenager in the breakfast area had loaded three plates with every bit of food left at the breakfast bar. Luckily Cracker Barrel was close. I didn't get breakfast any day of my stay - most items were not available. I did hope for some bit of breakfast each day.

I did not eat breakfast, as I had an early engagement and by the time I returned, the breakfast area had closed. Though I was able to get a cup of coffee and the staff was very personable.

Lighting in the bedroom, getting older, things need to be a bit brighter. Unfortunately, the toilet paper was very thin and rough..

Curtains let way to much light in from parking lot big lights on the tall poles. there needs to be a way to close curtains but all you could use was the shears very annoying as you tried sleeping with your fact towards the window. Not a good nite sleep , same thing with my friend . they made the same comment to me. we were in Tom’s 226,227

The location was great plenty of restaurants close by. The place was very clean my room had no bad odor. Really appreciated that the bathroom had a hand rail most places don't unless you specifically ask for handicapped.

the beds are not queen, they are standard. the property management could stand to replace all beds as the one in our room had us sinking in the middle of it.

The pool should have more coverage from the sun. Water was too warm in that heat. We never used it due to that. Otherwise we miss that place.

We love the breakfast! We love the staff! We love everything. This is our 3rd? maybe 4th stay here and we will definitely be back.

AC wall unit was way too loud. Hard to sleep. Probably just the one in my room.. hopefully. The ceiling looked a little old too in my room and my friends room. (Like there had been patch work done but didn’t look too appealing to the eye)

Everything was awesome. Clean room, larger than expected. Beautiful property. Price was reasonable, actually quite the value considering how great it was.
