Scottish Inn & Suites - Conroe

The reception staff was friendly when checking in and out. Room was well laid out, clean and comfortable. The only minor item I would like to comment on was want the breakfast array of food choices. To me, my wife and friends we were traveling with we felt that they were very limited. We all felt that there could of been a better selection of food at breakfast. Overall, our stay was great. We were close to the Convention Center that took us to Conroe. My compliments to the staff for there friendliness.

Very clean, had small refrigerator and microwave even a little electric two burner stove if you wanted to make some nacho cheese dip to watch a movie with. Shower/Tub was clean with plenty towels & wash rags. Will stay again !!

Don't really have any. Some rooms you couldn't park directly in front would be the only thing. But yet understandable with a nice handicap ramp taking up a couple spaces which of those who needs one.

Stayed for two nights. Everything went well and the room where clean and bed comfortable. It has a little kitchen which we did not use but, nice to know it was there. Thanks to all the staff.

As previus common reviews, breakfast was not the best. We understand because of Covid-19 selection is limited but should try individually wrap items like breakfast tacos or subway sandwiches.

We asked for a quiet room on an upper floor and were happy to be given one in the corner, away from others. The lady who checked us in was very nice and accommodating. The property was well maintained and felt safe.

Unfortunately, two of our towels looked clean as they were hanging on the rack but were dirty on the inside. There was hair on the bathroom counter and floor. The floors in the room were dusty and needed mopping. Overall, the room appeared clean but those details had been overlooked by housekeeping.

I am from the local area and I absolutely love the location because it is right outside of the city with less traffic and people yet close enough that you could run to Walmart or Academy Sports and buy fishing tackle in 5 mins and then 5 minutes later be on the lake fishing while your wife can be shopping or getting her hair and nails done or having brunch with her friends in the same 5 mins it took you to grab the fishing tackle and both of you enjoy your visit. The King suite is very roomy and perfect for the traveling business executive conducting his Zoom meetings on the 5G Wifi.

I was a little disappointed in the breakfast expecting maybe oatmeal, eggs. or perhaps waffles or even cereal but breakfast was only Honeybuns and juice. I guess motels don't offer much for breakfast anymore these days?

Upon check in the staff was very friendly and welcoming. My room had a blow dryer that didn't work. This was resolved to my satisfaction within a matter of minutes. The location was quiet too!

The restroom water took a really long time to get warm making it very water wasteful. The breakfast that was included was abysmal! While I understand Covid has caused establishments to change things, this breakfast was more of a sad little snack. Having breakfast included was the deciding factor in my choice of this hotel.

Cleanliness, No pets, No Smoking, Everthing Modern update, Fresh No Smell,Aircondition blow fresh air, Roomy, Love Kitchnette,& nice having a iron, microwave, Refrigerator, & Stove..so Comfortable...Enjoyed our Stay! Will be back...Love that I got a Discount going through Booking...I Would Rate the Stay 10 plus..

It was Clean, Smell Good, Modern, like the facts that it's no Pets, or Smoking in the Hotel & therefore yall hotel stay clean & fresh...Really enjoy my Stay will be Coming back Love that Yall Hotel is so Nice & Clean...the only Dislike was they Didnt serve no Breakfast...overall the Cleanliness made me not complain about Breakfast...I would Rate yall a 10....

It’s our favorite place to stay. Clean, comfy and in a great location. No frills but we are in Texas for other reasons and only sleep there. Very comfortable beds and large quiet rooms.

Although we did not use the kitchen facilities, it was a pleasant surprise to see that there was a 2-burner cooktop, countertop, and sink available. No cookware or tableware were present, however... I don't know whether that was pandemic-related. The room was very nice and appeared to be recently refurbished. Where paint was chipped on the outside of the building there was a bit of rust, but the room didn't show signs of age, and the door lock was the proximity kind - no contact with key card needed - and it worked perfectly.

There are not enough parking spots to allow everyone to park directly in front of their rooms. Parking farther away is less convenient, though we could see our vehicle from our room window. We originally booked for 1 night - a Thursday - and decided to stay a second night. The Friday night price was around 20% higher. Because it was still a good value, we stayed.

Location perfect and the room was top quality. Exceptional air/heat, quiet I will always look for Scottish Inns when i travel anywhere as I hope they are available nationwide.

Parking could be assigned to be closer to rooms.
