This is hard to answer since I don't stay in hotels very often. At 70 years old, and a creature of habit, I felt almost at home. But, that's Texas for you. We do everything better here!
Only 2 issues and they are nominal. I found leftover food in the frig. And, the bed was too hard for my taste. I have physical issues that make me picky.

This was a great hotel. Even though it was right on the freeway you never heard it. Staff was so nice and helpful. Beds were super comfortable and showers were hot with great pressure. A definite hotel to stay at when we visit our kids.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The rooms were incredibly clean, the front desk staff was wonderful and friendly.
The beds were a little uncomfortable, however I have chronic back problems, so I'm pretty sure it was just me not planning ahead for that rather than anything else

We left Louisiana for hurricane delta. When we arrived long before check in time, the manager allowed us to check in early for two of our 3 rooms. She then had the 3rd room cleaned within an hour. She was so helpful and made our trip less stressful! Not to mention how clean the hotel and rooms were. This location is absolutely beautiful! Strongly recommend this hotel!!!!
