Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dallas South - DeSoto, an IHG Hotel

The Customer Service was great. Yvette welcomed us with a smile when we arrived at the hotel to check in. Jesse was very kind and polite. When we came back from an event we had gone to, Valerie was very helpful to us in reference to walking to the store. (lol). Valerie, we took your advice and went walking to the store when the 🌞came out at 7:00 am. Valerie also greeted us with a smile.

There was not anything we didn't like. The hotel was very clean. When you walked into the hotel, there was a pleasant aroma. The bed was very comfortable. The water was super hot to take a shower. The breakfast was a hot continental breakfast.

The front desk staff was very nice. I think her name was Maria. Silvia made sure we had what we needed during breakfast time. The location was convenient to everwhere we had to go. The price was reasomable and the room was decent for our two night stay. The staff was efficient to come and fix the TV when it was not working properly. Housekeeper emptied the trash and replaced our towels.

There are somethings needing improvement: There need to be hot cereal (grit and oatmeal) at breakfast Since breakfat ends at 10 am there should be enough food to serve until the end. The carpet need a deep cleaning There were a few ants in the bathroom The bathroom ceiling tile need to be and the base shower head fixture need repairing. Thank you

The Continental breakfast was good and plentiful. The reception staff was professional and accommodating. I had to extend my stay for a day and the rate was reasonable and again the staff was accommodating.

Upon arrival the pool was under repair. Did not have enough towels for 2 people ( in my opinion). Asked for more towels after being there for a day and was told there wasn’t any but was given 2 towels that were too small. I think that if the rooms aren’t being cleaned daily at the very least housekeeping should replenish towels and remove trash without being prompted. The room was either too hot or too cold, no medium. That made for very uncomfortable nights. Having to constantly get up and adjust the temperature throughout the day and night was somewhat discerning.

very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Their was a lady named Slivia in the breakfast area and she was the nicest employee . Very helpful and so nice . She was helping everyone take their plates and was always wiping something down . This is by far one of the cleanest hotels. And the breakfast was amazing and fresh. we will definitely be staying here again.

The staff was amazing and helpful especially the General Mgr, Jesse. It was convenient to the conference I was attending. The comp breakfast and shuttle service was a bonus. Relatively clean and organized.

Particularly in my room the safe wasn’t operable also the exhaust fan wasn’t working. Although the shuttle service was a bonus, hrs should be posted. Need outside yr round plants, flowers or shrubs.

Location was nice despite being off of a major highway, the rooms were quiet and you couldn't hear the traffic nearby. Breakfast had decent items in the morning.

The beds were not as comfortable as they could have been. Sheets and blankets were not provided for the pull out bed. Cigarette burns were on the carpet and the tile in the bathroom was loose.

most everything was great! Except the pool and hot tub were not working. we were only told about the hot tub prior to booking because we specifically asked.

check-in is 3:00 and we had to wait till 3:15 or so for the room requested on the 4th floor. we were on our way to the State Fair so timing did matter a bit that particular stay.

Easy location from freeway. Great Staff, especially Silvia who ensured breakfast was great. Water always available.

There was no television service, the grout on the bathroom floor was loose/ missing and a piece almost cut my foot. The AC smelled like a sweat gym.

My toddlers loves the warm breakfast options. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The rooms were standard yet spacious. We stayed for 3 nights visiting family. Loved that it was close to the airport 30 minute drive Love Field. Also close to stores and plenty food options around. It was great will definitely stay again ;)

Sure, the kitchen staff are Top of the Line. They made my stay awesome and jesse the front desk clerk was all so top of the line i will stay there any and every time i need rest😴 🥰 there was a Lovely wedding there as well it was so humbling to see them start out in life. But i did'nt know them and i don't want to forget house keeping they were also great It was a Very Good experience thank to Holiday Inn Express!
