Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Duncanville, an IHG Hotel

I Loved everything about this location, the staff, and the hotel itself! If I'm ever in the area again, I would stay here!

I didn't like that the room keys kept needed to be reprogrammed! I was warned upon checking, but it was just a hassle to get to your room and then having to go back down 3 floors to have your room keys reprogrammed. I also hated that the breakfast that was served was the same each morning.

The location was most important for me the event that I was attending was only 7 to 15 minutes away. They also provided me with the Suite that was also very accommodating.

As I do appreciate the time that the company invested in upgrading the property, this was the only inconvenience due to construction. AlsoI expressed concern about someone interrogating my son in the lobby , another guest. I expressed this to the manager that it is uncomfortable for guests when minors are not being properly supervised by the parents or guardian 😕.

The hotel was nice and the staff was very pleasant inspite of the big red stains throughout my room in the carpet

The only thing I didnt like was there were big red stains all over the carpet in my room from the previous guest and unfortunately the hotel was to capacity and they couldnt move me. I asked for a discount and was informed that they couldnt give me one. I paid a pretty penny for my room and due to this alone I wont be back.

I didn’t get the room I originally booked due to booking not securing the room ,says the worker, which was a little inconvenient due to me having such a large family. however they did give a great discount for the inconvenience. I really think it was because the hotel was completely booked and and checked in last. other than that, everything was fine.

The cleaniest of the hotel and that our room was clean daily. The breakfast was awesome as well.

That I had to ask for extra washcloths when I told them we will need two set, meaning two for me and two for my friend. Each person said they would add it as not for the cleaning staff ;however, I had to ask.

Breakfast was wonderful location perfect and we meet a wonderful staff member named Dorthy is was such a pleasure to meet her sweet lady!!!

The check out time is just to early I was in town for a military funeral. And the service did not start until 2:00 we had to check out super early and impose on family members.

Breakfast mostly good, loved the snacks available for purchase downstairs, loved the ample parking out front, loved the well lit bathroom, loved that the AC worked, loved the TV and closet space.

The AC made noise when it was off, disturbing sleep. There was never hot water available in the hot water dispenser during breakfast - would have been nice to get some hot tea. The pillows were a bit tough.

The premises was nice and clean the room was as well they were contactless to enter but required a Deposit of $100 for incidentals and still waiting to be reimbursed. Easy access to major roads and very well lit surroundings.

The guest next to me on the second night had a dog he barked all night long.

The staff was super friendly. I requested some additional towels in the morning and when we returned a few hours later they were already in the room. It’s such a small thing but it’s a big thing for me.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t really like other then the shower not draining well.

Suites were exceptionally well designed with comfort, style and amenities all 4-star quality. Staff was friendly and efficient. Location was great, right off I-67 next to a grocery store and restaurants. Breakfast buffet was very good.

We liked everything.
