Hilton Garden Inn Houston Northwest

We had to take an Uber, which required use of a face mask and we did not bring one. The receptionist, who was masked, was kind enough to give us some for our personal use. The decor was quite nice as well and the bed was very comfortable.

The location is a bit odd, we nearly missed it as it's tucked behind a medical facility and not on an actual road. Additionally, the doors to the rooms are quite heavy and when they close can be be very loud. As we had turned in early, we kept hearing doors slamming like this from other guests.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Having a single-serve coffee/tea maker in the room is very convenient.

Rooms near the stairs can be a little noisy if other patrons fail to recognize quiet hours. Also, the room we got had a very small sink area with no counter space for personal items. However, these two inconveniences are not deal-breakers that overcome the Hilton experience and reputation.

Overall what is expected of the name of the hotel. Staff super friendly and polite. Junior suit was bigger than what we need it. Love it overall. We were right across from elevators and we didn't hear any noise during the night. It was just right. Parking available at no charge and breakfast included.

Room 217 had a Bed cover with a "weird" spot, would be much better if this is replaced coming from a Hilton. However, it would also solve the issue if this was flipped to the end of the bed and tucked in under the mattress if not possible to replaced it.

Breakfast was brilliant and location accessible and excellent

The telephone in the room was not working

Area around the hotel was run down. The price I paid should have included breakfast. The was a small sign posted with the cost of breakfast. I didn't see the sign until I sat down to eat.

Staff very friendly

That they waited days to tell us the pool was our for maintenance first two days they just keep saying its getting cleaned

Everything else was great, the room was clean and roomy and comfortable.

The pillows are the only thing that I was very disappointed with, who likes flat pillows?

Water pressure on the upstairs room was a little off. On a scale of one to ten the water was an 8 but still good pressure

Convenience, comfort, the manager was awesome

I asked for room service and none was given other than that it was nice
