Staybridge Suites Lubbock South, an IHG Hotel

Everything about the room was great most of the Staff was very professional and nice court yard was beautiful we didn't get to enjoy it because of the kids running around on their scooters and climbing all over the rocks while their parents just tuned them out. I understand kids will be kids however there are other people that would like to enjoy their time of peace also, we retreated to our room and had to listen to them jumping up and above our room. I don't blame the hotel for this I blame the inconsiderate parents.

Breakfast was not very good just fair.

Location was perfect, stayed here 3 weeks while dropping my daughter off at Tech. My room was separate from the Living area and we had a full kitchen. Room was spacious, clean, and perfect for all our belongings. Breakfast was also a nice addition and the free washer/dryer were essential for our long stay. Perfect home away from home. Many restaurants are located just a stones throw from the hotel. Staff were all helpful and incredibly friendly, Good Job to all the staff--customer service was excellent, will be staying here again when I am in the area.

I did not eat breakfast due to a very early departure. The hotel is located next to a shopping center with many dining options.

I reserved this room through Booking.com well in advance of my arrival. When I arrived, the front desk could find no record of my reservation, even when I gave them a printed copy of the confirmation number. I don't know if this was the fault of the property or of Booking.com. I had to pay again to stay there at a slightly higher rate. The double booking is being resolved.

The room was fully equipped. It was quiet so we were able to rest well and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and stocked well.

They charged a $75 pet fee for only one night which wasn’t explained anywhere until we arrived . Also, the room was on an upper floor with the pet and seemed as though there were stains (maybe from other pets) on the rugs; would bring and wear flip flops throughout the entire room.

The location is very convenient for us. We have stayed here before and enjoy the proximity to our route as well as the closeness of several great restaurants.

The room could have been a little cleaner but my standards for cleanliness are higher than most. The room is spacious and well appointed, however. The biggest complaint is that either the floor above us is made of cardboard, or a few rowdy elephants occupied the room above us. It was very loud with stomping late into the night and early morning.

The staff was great. We asked for an extra blanket and they were quick and friendly to provide it. The room size and layout were very good. The kitchenette was definitely better than most hotels. Also, the room got down to 60 degrees, which makes for great sleeping!

The only things we didn't like was a large tear in the chair in the room and the shower had sticky, yucky stuff on the floor. For the price we paid I was really expecting better in that regard.

Clean comfortable sheets on bed Big refrigerator, nice kitchen area. Very clean and updated.

Was a little not creepy but had to be paying attention walking down the halls. Things these days and people are hurting inherent people. Just a be safe as you walk down main hall. Too many blind spots

The STAFF, every single employee I dealt with was so kind and helpful. The reason for my stay was not a pleasent one, and I looked as bad az things were going that weekend. But every employee from the girl that got me checked In Early, the lady that serves breakfast, the front desk guy that allowed me a later check out to the manager that helped me check out because I had to change the card they had on file. Everyone of them treated me so kind and helpful. They honestly seemed like they enjoyed their job and cared. I would give 5stars for the employees.

It's alot of money to pay for what you get, for example the hotel has a different smell to it, I don't know if they had recently used something to sanitize the air because of Covid or what but it was not a pleasent smell. Breakfast was not edible, it definitely was not at all what you would expect from a hotel that charges $200 a night.

Breakfast was good, there was enough options for all from cereal to waffles and even eggs & potatoes. Location of hotel was great, near a lot of restaurants and there is a refrigerator in the room in case anyone brings back leftovers. Room had a small kitchenette with microwave, dishwasher & sink.

Shower/toilet space was small, made worse by a door between there and the vanity/sink area.

Room was very clean and pet friendly. Really could not tell that they welcome pets because the room was so nice. It had a cook top as well as a uwave. Location within walking distance to three restaurants. Hot breakfast was excellent. Had a first floor room fairly close to exit which was great with our pet.

Outside garbage cans were often full. Ones inside were available so no big deal.
