Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Port Aransas/Beach Area, an IHG Hotel

The location of hotel was great. Walking distance to places to eat and to the beach were so close. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Asked a couple of questions and was answered. Everything was comfortable and cool. Pool area was nice.

Area where the charcoal pits were needs work. Leftover material left out in the open. Some shade would be nice too. Maybe fix on website where it says washer and dryer in the room. It needs to state that its a laundry area on floor 2 and 3 or something.

The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly.

On a prior stay at this hotel there were USB ports on the lamps and this room had none. Also, the trash cans were all full in the area where breakfast is served and there were flies coming out of it when I attempted to add trash. Our room faced the pool and the music around the pool was left on all night the first night. After a second request it was turned off on the second night.

. The staff was friendly and even stored my Grandsons birthday cake for a couple of days in their fridge. The room was clean, it's an older hotel and you can tell. But still nice.

The beds were ok. A little hard. There was trash outside our door that the cleaning staff left for a couple of days. It didn't smell but just didn't like seeing it.

I really liked the location. We were able to walk to the beach which was a block away. The pool was really nice! The room was nice and clean and for the most part, comfortable. The blackout curtains were great too.

Okay, when I booked the room, I asked for an ocean view but we got a parking lot view instead. Also, our room was right across from the elevator so we heard the "ding" of the elevator at all hours. Also, there was a shortage of towels. Three towels in a double queen room?? So we had to go get more towels from the front desk. Same with the pool towels. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was great, we had one little problem when we first checked in, but was fixed in no time. Also hot breakfast everyday it was different hot breakfast which was nice. The pool was great an big. Really liked when we asked for extra bedding it was in a nice pack ready to go. The beach was walking distance which was nice. It was also very quite, will be back

Super clean staff was amazing!

There was air conditioner in the lobby and in our rooms, but on the second floor and third floor there was not. Although we didn’t really mind it because we were not hanging out in the hallways anyways. 

We enjoyed the services. The breakfast was super.

We didn't like that our bathroom walls were dirty with fecal. The restroom didn't have fans to rotate air. The hallways of the Hotel were super uncomfortable (muggy).

I could walk to the beach in ten minutes. The staff was very friendly. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable.

The price seemed high for a Holiday Inn. The hotel pool was nice, but there wasn't much shade. Breakfast was good, but served in styrofoam, which I try not to use.

Great location and good breakfast options. Very clean rooms, purchase options for food and beverages at the front desk 24/7, and accommodating staff.

The halls smelled of mildew and ammonia and the pool was over chlorinated.

Arrived early and receptionist had no issues checking us in early, this IHG is among the best I have ever stayed at the staff was amazing the accommodations superb and the price was the real deal! I will definitely be staying here again, Thank you
