Amelia's Landing

Loved the customer service! We left due to an emergency the first night and turned in our keys. We called the next day to see if we are able to come back and were allowed with no extra charge! Loved that this place was pet friendly. LaLa was amazing at the front desk. Another man assisted us and could not be any more friendly. I would stay here again!

The water would change from cold to steaming hot back to cold. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience and was able to manage it.

The cleaning crew was amazing! The pool was blue, clean and was heated just enough to where it was nice to relax. The man either who owned the place or working the front desk was so nice. He let us check in 2 hours early, leave our car then when we checked out so we could hang at the beach! To top it off we had options to choose from for our little continental breakfast delivered outside out door! Very pleased with this place would definitely recommend and will stay here again soon.

Easy to find. Parking can be tight, but, manageable. Check in was super easy. Clerk was extremely nice. While checking in we were given a card to select what juice(s), we wanted, along with crossaint, granola bar, fruit, and muffin. Coffee and coffee maker were in the room. Our breakfast was sitting outside our door every morning in a plastic tub. Non-Smoking rooms are available‼️ Ground floor rooms available, others are 8-ish steps walk up. Our room was CLEAN, and smelled nice. I cannot describe how comfortable the bed was. We both slept better there than at home. We stayed 4 nights, so, no need for room service. We, simply took our towels to the office for fresh towels. Pool towels are in the room. Although we didn't use it, there is a gas grill located by the pool for guest to use. We had an issue with the remote not working. The office clerk came, immediately with another remote - problem FIXED! We didn't hear much from the other rooms on either side of us, and other guest were friendly. We will absolutely stay here every time we come down. Thank you to owners and staff for making our stay better.

Parking can be tight when someone in an over sized pickup parks in the first few spaces - but, that is not the owners nor clerks fault. If possible, could guest borrow a Swiffer or broom long enough to get sand out of room?

The staff were wonderful as usual,this was the 4th time we've stayed here,and the location is perfect!

The bathroom was too small.. and for the first times since we found this gem we had an angry,loud person in the next room that slammed doors and yelled all night.

There is different themes to the whole place! the main theme is pilots ofcourse! our first room was gonna be number 7 but since it was pretty quiet we went to a room named “blackbird” and that has been my favorite aircraft since way back!! 10/10

I really have nothing bad to say about my stay it was very comfy and the beds were SO SOFT!

I stayed here as a kid with my mom several times and I was not disappointed in coming back! The nostalgic decor is still the same, with updated rooms. The room was so clean when I got there. No sand, no signs of the past occupants. I had a microwave and a mini fridge to keep my food cold. The shower was spacious and clean. They also give you shower towels AND beach towels in the room, I liked that. They give you a small selection of breakfast items to be brought to your door step in a plastic tub with a lid. The muffins were delicious and the juice was really good. The incredibly nice staff filled my small ice chest with ice twice for me. They made me feel welcome and reminded me numerous times that they would help with anything I needed. They are very pet friendly and happily gave me extra towels for my dog. You can park right in front of your room. A short walk to the door and you can see your vehicle from your window. Also the location is really great. You are right by beach street which takes you straight to the shore with a pier. There are several really good restaurants and bars within walking distance. There was a good amount of grass area for me to walk my dog. I really enjoyed my stay here and I will be staying here from now on when I visit.

The only complaint I have is that I couldn’t get the coffee maker to work and the shower at the pool didn’t work but these were small things that didn’t make a difference in my stay.

It was close to alot of things we were interested in.

Floors made our feet and socks black. Like floors had not been rinsed after mopping with soap.

The property was clean, breakfast was provided but option was very limited. Location is excellent. Staff was accommodating!

I didn’t like that the floor fell sticky to walk on. The bed felt like it needed to be replaced. I felt like I was sinking and almost falling off the side of the bed because the support wasn’t there if you slept two to a bed.

I liked having a fridge and microwave. I like the ambiance of each room having its own theme. I liked the soft bed. I liked the cleanliness. We asked for something not included and received it. I liked the quietness but easy to get everywhere. I liked having good air conditioning.

It’s a great little boutique hotel. I hope to visit again. I hope the owners will invest in more upgrades, newer thermal blankets, and more detailed cleaning and furnishings. They’ve upgraded a lot which we truly appreciated. Nothing’s perfect in this world which is why I wrote something here.

A/C cord ran very close to bath sink, it looked like a new air conditioner but power cord needs to be rerouted. Shower room is pretty small and crowded
