Ocean's Edge Hotel, Port Aransas,TX

The breakfast is awesome, lots to choose from and the rooms are very nice and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of space inside.

I can’t say anything was bad or needed.

Great location in Port Aransas. Close drive to the beach. Walking distance to several tourist/surf shops and restaurants. Motel with spacious rooms and renovated/wooden floors. Clean (no mold, which is great, considering hurricane damages and constant humidity that are common in the area). Weekdays they offer a complimentary happy hour.

Nothing to complain. Great price for value.

Exceptional friendliness of staff. We felt very welcome and right away more than comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the room well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed to be able to sit outside in the garden furniture and chat with the other guests as we enjoyed the early evening with an aperitive we brought. Would have loved to have a couple of days more...

I loved the rooms they were very clean and had portly of towels , everything thing was great it stayed cold and the bathrooms we’re clean. The pool area was very fun had multiple seating areas and the stay was amazing

The only downside when i went to the property was that the pool was not clean it had algae on it and looked a bit green on the bottom and the lights were never on in the pool also there was a worker at the front desk she had a attitude and seemed annoyed by everything i was saying or when i asked questions , the other worker was very kind and willing to answer any questions we had but other than that everything was great.

We had an great stay at Ocean's Edge and found it to be an excellent value. The staff was friendly, the property seemed well-maintained (we didn't see any of the issues that other reviews mentioned), and the location was awesome. Breakfast was basic, but enjoyable, and they made an effort to serve a different hot option each day. We hope to return soon!

This isn't necessarily a complaint, but we stayed in the kitchenette room and couldn't find a lot of information about what that entailed before booking. It has a stove/oven and extra sink, with some plates, pots, pans and cooking utensils. (Bring your own eating utensils). There is also the standard microwave and mini-fridge. We had been hoping the fridge would be a little larger and would have a freezer, but we made it work and still found the little kitchenette to be a plus.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The bed was so comfortable. I didnt like how the curtain was still open on the side and thar side was facing a mirror which then anyone could peek into the side of the window where curtain was still open and see us in bed In the mirror. You would need thumb tacks to close the curtain fully on the side, so we just put a blanket over the mirror and made sure not to change in that area. Loved the breakfast and happy hour! Other then that, stay was great!

Very clean and friendly staff! Hotel is super close to everything. The beds were comfortable as well. Also Hotel was affordable especially since we booked the day of.

Parking was very crammed. Especially when traveling for vacation, we have beach gear and fishing rods so we brought a truck. It was very difficult to find a decent size parking spot to fit in and just to park took a while since the parking lot had very little room to work with. The towels were also VERY rough and hard. I recommend anyone coming to bring your own shower towels. It felt like sand paper.

Un-friendly male staff at check out and king bed was lumpy and not too comfy, walls are very thin and could hear the TVs on loudly in both rooms on either side of us.

the staff was super nice and informative and they had a 2 drink free happy hour and the breakfast was amazing! rooms were very nice!

the bed wasn’t amazing but there were extra pillows on it.

The location, friendly staff and the room decor.

I liked the firm level of the pillows, but they were a bit small. There were three pillows. Maybe with four, two each, it would have worked better. We made it work and this is just an observation.
