Embassy Suites by Hilton San Marcos Hotel Conference Center

Breakfast was great. Eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads, pancakes, Juices, milk, coffee, tea and made to order omelets. Food stayed full even with a good amount of guests eating. Staff was great. Room service was a bit slow but we just walked to the front desk for any needs. Room was clean and a nice size. We got the king suite for 2 adults and a 7 year old...could have easily sleep 2 more small kids. The view was over the parking lot and highway which was still a good view especially sunrise and set. Happy hour from 5 to 7 was a great experience. Bartenders were nice and fast. Drinks were good and they weren't stingy with making you another within reasonable limits. Everything about our stay was near perfect.

The room was cleaned, and the breakfast was delicious.

I called to room service and told them that we needed extra blankets they told us they bring them at the room but they never came.

Check in was smooth and the elevators were quick. Service was friendly and the breakfast was a nice convenience with a good variety. The omelette bar service was a very nice feature.

The room was rather warm when we arrived and it took some time to cool off. The room was clean but had a musty/ wet sock/ mildew mop oder when entering. The nose adjusted after a few minutes but that created a question of the level of sanitizing that occurred based on the clean sticker seal that was on the door.

The included breakfast was excellent. The special order chef was very friendly and extremely efficient. The other staff were also very welcoming even the bus boy greeted you on arrival and welcomed us back on departure.

The rooms are in need of a thorough update.

Hot water for showers was great, room was spacious, bed & pillows comfortable, hotel was overall quite quiet, really liked their hand sanitizer areas & masks required & reception ladies were super helpful & friendly!

Room felt very muggy, some towels looked a bit dirty (stained or hairs on them), & breakfast lady serving was grumpy. Wifi & parking are an additional charge :/

good location and spacious, the room was very comfortable. the front desk and bar staff were excellent.

No complaints about the property, however there was a large group of guests at the pool screaming for 2 hours (until midnight) when the pool was supposed to be closed at 10 pm. There are many rooms on the poolside, and we could not enjoy our evening. Hotel management should have closed the pool.

Room was comfortable, bar area was amazing and bartending staff were so nice and made some incredible drinks. Breakfast was delicious, I loved the fact that we were given several different options to choose from along with space for seating.

The room could have been a little bit cooler for my liking, but the Texas Heat could have played a huge part in that!

The staff was super helpful. Marlene checked up on us, and I am not sure if it was her, but another super helpful girl made sure I had anything I needed. I needed batteries for a project and when I returned from my little outing they were there on the counter. It's small little things like that, that make me want to come back there.

I didn't like the carpet. It looks a little old, but that's not the staff's fault. Management, take in your staff's ideas though. They might surprise you.

Everything for the most part was exceptional for the most part

Our sheets had snot on them on the fitted protector sheets. The front desk said they would get housekeeping to change them. They did clean our room however the linen was not changed 😔

Staff was very friendly. Rooms are great and breakfast is awesome.

The valet area was full of trash and there were Flys everywhere, kind of gross from a nice hotel.
