Wimberley Inn

The room and facilities were very clean. We were only there for one night, so we didn't get a chance take advantage of the pool, which looked amazing.

Minor inconvenience; the bed and chair were low but comfortable. The metal frame for the bed sticks out a little and will destroy your shin. Other than that, the place is great. We never met any of the staff, other than the bar staff, in person. Everything was handled via phone call or text. We never had an issue, but all of our questions were answered promptly. Great stay.

Stylish but thoughtfully functional, well located with fantastic facilities and a warm welcoming Tx community feeling.

Didn’t like how short our stay had to be - we could literally have spent our entire time in Tx Hill Country based there. If you check in towards the end of the day the process is handled by texts and keypads so you do miss out on the personal interaction - but for some that will be a boon, and it’s actually an indicator that in Wimberly absolutely everyone is getting on with living their best lives.

Enjoyed the Saturday Brunch and drinks on the patio. Food was very good. Enjoyed the live music at the bar. The room was very nice. The location of the Inn was great. Would definitely stay here again.

The things I didn't like were just minor things. I didn't like that the pool and pool area was almost completely shaded by trees. Also the hot tub/spa in the pool wasn't working. I was disappointed the bar restaurant wasn't open on Sunday night or Monday. Wish there would have been a microwave in the room.

the hotel was very aesthetically awesome, the bed was comfortable, responsive to text messages, easy access to rooms, the pool was great and the bar down by the pool was awesome.

Our shower did not work and when we messages about it, we got no response and had to use the tub for a bath instead. That was disappointing.

It was really close to town but felt very private and secluded. Also VERY close to Blue Hole (don’t forget to reserve there and Jacobs Well in advance). Also their sister property which managed check in and gives you riverfront access to the Blanco as well as a LOVELy pool overlooking the river. Bonus for the weird little pioneer town and very aggressive family of geese that patrol the property.

It was disappointing that the pool was so far away and the bar and grill hadn’t opened yet so there was no food or drink available on premises. However lots of options in wimberly so nothing to cry about. The bar looks like it’s going to be cool when it opens

The inn had a lot of character, very close to the center of town. The bar was great. The staff were also very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return to the Wimberly Inn, whenever I am in the area.

A chair in the room would have been nice.

This place is adorable! Staff was super friendly and the sister property offered more fun included with the price! My husband and 2 young boys had a blast. Very clean, wildlife on the nature trails and property is beautiful. Will be even better once everything is 100% done but great either way!

The beds were a bit firm, but that’s probably personal preference. We came mostly during the week and some of the fun things at the hotel and in town were closed.

Amazing location to relax or enjoy the town and surrounding area. Exceptional food and drink at the bar! Close to the street but quite and secluded feel. We saw deer, a fox, and several different birds from our room.

This is a new property and just opened so the Bar and pool were not finished yet and the staff were located off property. It made me a little nervous but only because I am not familiar with Wimberly or Air B and B type of hotels. They responded to my text quickly and sent me a phone number to talk to them live which was very comforting . The room was lovely and comfy and I would stay there again!!

Great facilities and location. We liked the layout and design of the hotel that blends well with the Hill Country landscape.
