The Covered Bridge Inn

Breakfast was more than adequate for an early morning start to our day. We stayed at his location for a number of years when it was Super 8. The property and services appear to remain much the same. The bed was excellent and we often rate a motel/hotel by the comfort of the bed. We would recommend the owners to keep up quality of beds and bed coverings.

We stayed in a nice suite for disabled person(s) since my wife had a stroke in NH on the same trip 4 years ago but is recovering. The only disappointment was that the suite had no shower chair for her to sit on. None-the-less, we felt we could cover that the next time by checking with the owners or taking our own. It did not spoil our stay.

The breakfast is varied and everything is replenished continually, as necessary. The concession machines work and are also kept full. The parking lot is just big enough to accommodate a full house. The staff is friendly and responsive. Everything is clean, and I have never seen a pest of any size during my several visits here. The internet works well. Near shopping and restaurants, as well as auto shops and gas stations. And a 24-hour car wash.

More and more diverse TV channels.

This is the best value of the four or five Putney Road motels. Everything works and is in pretty good shape. It's clean and the staff is both friendly and accommodating.

My only substantial complaint is that the sole "news" station on the TV is Fox News, which is way too close to a 1984ish situation for me! This is Vermont, after all! The land of Peter, Pat and Bernie!!

We were so impressed with this Inn. A wonderful room (seemed to be recently renovated). Clean, comfortable and spacious. Our check in was easy and we got great recommendations for dinner (we chose The Marina which was great). We would stay here again without question! Note: the TV doesn't have a blinding number of stations. Coffee in the room is great. Breakfast is basic but free. .

Conveniently located off Rte 91 exit but close to the center of Brattleboro. Places to eat within walking distance (fast food) or short car drive. Gas station nearby. Room had basic supplies.

This was very conveniently located near the circle of the center of town and close to restaurants. There is also a decent breakfast of cold foods.

I didn't care for the stairs and there was not enough room to sit at a table to eat so I could not carry all that I wanted at breakfast.

Location was great for our travels. They offered breakfast. Liked how early it was available.

Breakfast quality was low. Meager selection. Orange juice dispenser only dispensed water. Coffee in room only decaf. Probably an oversight by housekeeping.

Cleanliness, good a/c (not noisy, did the job), comfy beds, proximity to good Indian restaurant and McD’s, proximity to hwy.

Cold coffee, no lobby restroom, no elevator, slamming outside door, keycard didn’t work.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly. Parking is convenient. And there's a Hannaford's supermarket nearby.

The view from the window was the golden arches of a McDonald's, nothing to do with a "Covered Bridge." And it isn't an "inn," it's a motel. There was a coffee machine with the wrong coffee pouches, which when inserted produced a weak, watery coffee. No one said anything about breakfast.

The hotel could upgrade bathroom and maybe change carpets and lighting.
