From my phone conversation prior to my arrival all the way up until check out everything was top notch the staff, the amenities, my breakfast, and all of the little details that were put into the nutmeg!!!! Beautiful old building, charming, lovely interior design, comfy common seating areas. A la carte breakfast included in room rate and was of high quality and made to order. Very nice staff. Close to the main road, but very quiet. Comfortable large bed. Homemade cookies waited for us in the room when we arrived. A very thoughtful touch :-)
A bit outside of Wilmington, yet only a 2 minute drive. Our room got a bit cold, as we were only there to sleep, we didn't ask for help with the heating to be fair.

Appreciated all little extra touches and details in room and around the house. Everyone we came in contact with was welcoming, friendly, pleasant. Breakfast offered tasty options, was served promptly. Bed was vety confortable!

It is very hard to leave the property and turn left on to the highway. It needs a big mirror to see traffic coming from the left.

Everything!!! Very Clean ,Comfortable Bed, Wifi, The Breakfast was awesome ,The Staff were Excellent and Very Accommodating and Polite, Location is right in the Beginning of Everything that you would need. Restaurants, Gas, Coffee, Walgreens and Family Dollar.
There was not anything that I didn't like about it, aside from the fact that Covid hampered a lot of the places in the area. But as far as the Nutmeg itself it was unbelievable.

Our room was large and comfortable and had a gas fireplace that we used one cool evening. The breakfast choices were unusually good and I particularly enjoyed French toast one morning and avocado toast another morning. Our hostess Shelley was extremely helpful and informative about the local area.
