Hotel Downstreet

The hotel is located close to the start of Main street in North Adams, near the city hall, it easy to spot the hotel from distance. There a few restaurant nearby on Main street and a few fast food restaurant around the area in walking distance, there a pharmacy (CVS & Walgreens) and supermarket (Big Y) located near Mohawk trail. MASS MoCA art museum is located in walking distance using State street. The lobby look very modern and clean, there a room with a few couches and tv in the lobby to sit, and there also a small table with kettle and coffee makers with table to sit on, there a parking lot right outside of the hotel. I got to sleep on both side of the building, both sides offer a nice view, clean rooms, big tv inside the rooms, a small refrigerator and a coffee maker.

Great location. Appreciate the guest laundry that is needed when travelling for 3+ weeks. Clean. Restaurant was good & right downstairs. Nice view from our room on Fl 6, Will be nice after all the renovations are completed.

No breakfast available & unfortunately the restaurant isn't open on Monday & Tuesday. A lot of the area restaurants were also closed also. 2 of the 3 washing machines were out of order. With the renovations going on much of the lobby was closed off as was some of the parking lot.

Clean, comfortable, well located within walking distance of MoCA, historic downtown streets, and places to eat. Friendly welcoming staff. Free parking onsite in open surface lot.

I wish all the money that’s been spent on reviving North Adams had been more successful-but I appreciate this hotel’s commitment to that effort.

Hotel is under new management and is super clean. It was pretty quiet and the room was big. Plenty of parking and an easy walk to Mass Moca and amenities like a liquor store. I would definitely stay again.

The shower walls were patched up but functional. There seems to be a pool and req room in the basement but they aren’t open. I hope they do someday. The restaurant attached was just ok and not open for breakfast which would have been super convenient.

The best option for North Adams. They've done a great job on renovations and you can't beat the location. Maybe a couple of small bottles of drinking water in the room at least upon arrival, no need to replenish, would be a nice touch but otherwise all good.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the room but they sent us to the room farthest from the elevator. I have a bad back and can not walk far... this bothered me. The cleanliness was great. Thank you.b

Breakfast would be nice, even coffee and rolls would be great. Being open late enough for us to attend a graduation that lets us make reservations. Thank you.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel - we loved everything about it! Walking to MASSMoCA and local restaurants, the friendly staff, large rooms, fresh vibe, coffee in the lobby for guests - thank you for a great visit! We hope to return.

Location was nice; staff recommended a good place for dinner that 2was obviously a local favorite. We were just passing through on our way to Boston, so it was a nice respite on a road trip. Parking was in an open lot where alot of construction was happening, but it was fine.

Clean, friendly staff, pool/jacuzzi with reservation (call in advance!), nice location, walking distance to dining areas/ discounted shopping (though issue with lots of places being closed), 20-30 minute drive to Jiminy Peak etc..

Overall it was a nice stay. COVID (assuming the reason) kind of puts a damper on things (understandably so :/ ). The hotel restaurant is closed, some local dining areas were either not open and/or had limited hours (this could also just be a local thing). Some places were for take out only so I do recommend calling the restaurants in advance if you are looking for a sit down. Desperados was a nice spot even for my picky 5 year old :P.

There was no breakfast?? The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable

The shower curtain was very annoying and kept sliding down at both ends and the floor of the tub was extremely slippery when it got wet.
