Sheraton Pentagon City

This hotel still maintains an upscale charm. Cleanliness was not an issue. The room was very comfortable and spacious.

The property is teetering on the line of being an excellent hotel to just an average hotel. While the hotel was super clean the facilities and some of the amenities were not fully functional. For starters the bathroom shower mechanism was extremely hard to operate and needs some TLC. The gym had a few machines that simply did not work. And the pool was not open due to reasons undisclosed to us (I’m assuming for maintenance.)

The staff was accommodating and friendly. The hotel is pet friendly. The hotel was spotless, and the room was spacious and comfortable. There was a good parking facility for my car. The location is really great and very close to Washington DC. They provide an excellent shuttle service that can drop you at the airport and pentagon city metro, connecting you to DC. I enjoyed my stay.

If you are staying for more than 3 days then you will find the breakfast buffet repeated and boring. They were really short in supply of soaps, and shampoos. However, these disadvantages did not ruin the trip or the comfort.

Very nice hotel with lovely room. Staff were excellent and helpful. Food was good as well. They provide a shuttle service to the nearest Metro station, so that was a great plus.

The AC unit was loud. Tried turning it off for the night from the wall unit, but that didn’t seem to stop the loud fan and higher flow of air. I used my earplugs and tried to block the higher flow of air, so it worked out, but it may need to be looked at to improve the experience.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Check in staff was friendly and prompt with check in.

The shower had absolutely no pressure. Was unable to find information or menu for the restaurant or if room service was available. When I asked the front desk they said it was available on the app. I downloaded the app but was unable to find any information without booking a stay...I was already staying and not able to add it as it said my confirmation number wasn't found/valid. So we just left and went out for dinner.

The staff were helpful and kind.

There is only a tiny mini fridge in the room. No way to keep more than a few drinks cold. No microwave and no creamer in the room. Checking in was difficult as there is barely any space to put your vehicle while you're checking in. You cannot access the parking lot before checking in and only 1 thin strip of road in between 2 buildings to accommodate everyone checking in.

Check in was painless and quick appreciated the parking availability location was close to all the spots we wanted to go to and the room was very comfortable

The only thing we were surprised with was I guess it was room service if we didn't have the security latch on the door they would have came right in before knocking Nope room service didn't know We felt that was unprofessional

We had a group of six family members. We used Uber to get around. It was so easy. Shuttle from and to the airport was great. Food at the Hotel was via buffets for the Spooky Squadron Reunion and the service and food quality was very good. Staff always smiled and front desk folks were very efficient.

We were happy with this facility.

I’ve always liked this hotel, no fuss, quiet, big room and comfy bed. Quick transit from the DCA. Always stayed here when I’m in town for a quick visit. I last went there during hurricane idalia evacuation, couldn’t deal with the anxiety of having the hurricane coming at me.

Hotel bar food could be a little better but still okay. Good price and convenient

The pictures on booking matched the actual rooms. It was very clean, amenities were good, and the checking in and out was very easy

There were 6 elevators. Only 2 were moving and i had to wait everytime or gave up and took the stairs because it was always full. Parking garage could have been maintained better but wasnt too bad

Room is spacy and bed is comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful.

No airport shuttle service until 7:00am. I wish this information which could have been provided to the customers during the booking. Business management can be improved. I was billed when checked in then was billed again when I checked out with extra $5.00 added for unclear reason. I didn't accrue any incidental charge during the stay. The two billings appeared simultaneously on my bank statement for 5 days. After 5 days the initial billing of $129.00 finally disappeared. I never had similar experience with any other hotels. It's a shame that I liked the stay and the staff but I have second thoughts to do business with Sheraton/Mariette concerning the billing practice.
