Hotel Pentagon

• Really delicious breakfast and good variety • We could park just outside our bedroom • The staff was really nice and kindly • It was really close to Washington, so that was convenient for us

• The cleanliness was ok, but there was a damp smell that bothered us the entire stay. • There weren’t appropriate shower size towels, the ones we got were tiny • Beds looked very old, we could feel its springs • The bathtub has a yellow color, we wouldn’t want to shower our baby in there • The information on the app said “hotel” but it looked more like a Motel

Room was exactly as expected, clean great beds, lots of charging options for the family electronics. Morning breakfast was considerable, no bagels and cereal here. Full on eggs, both pork and non pork meat options, pancakes, really great meal. They did though actually have bagles and cereal lol. Nice pool, with lifeguard, which made late afternoons refreshing when its 94. Location could not be better! Right next to HWY exit, yet no noise (HWY here is raised). Bus stop literally in front of our room, made the bus to metro to DC so easy it was silly! A block away is a great landscaped park, convenience store and a popular pizza restaurant (take out or delivery only it seems fyi). 100% we would stay here again. The staff was informative, friendly, willing to help in anyway we could ask.

Breakfast buffet was delicious, I'm still craving their scrambled eggs they had every morning. The pool lifeguard was very nice, she was pleasant to talk to and paid good attention making sure everyone was safe. When our mini fridge broke and we lost some meals we brought with us a staff member, nice younger man, found us a replacement soon after, stored our save-able food, and took money off our stay for the loss. My fiance proposed while we were there and now we're attached to room 204 haha. Hopefully we'll be back in October and plan to request that exact room, can't wait to stay again :)

The location was excellent for visiting DC.. The Lyft ride was about $14 bucks much less than fighting the traffic and parking made the experience much nicer. The room was a GREAT size - you had plenty of room between the beds and the table and dresser area. Also liked the extra sink outside the bathroom made getting the family ready easier. I also liked the laminate flooring over carpet. The staff was friendly and helpful - I look forward to staying during my next visit to DC so much to do and see. Please keep in mind this is NOT a downtown $400 room this is a very reasonably priced family room to go see free culture in DC.

Please keep in mind this is a little older facility but you can see they take efforts to update rooms. The bathrooms are older but get the job done.

Good price for a family staying for a few days to tour DC. Room was quite large, and the extra sink outside the bathroom was helpful since we are a family of four. The breakfast food options were better than the other hotels where we stayed on our road trip. Hotel staff were friendly and called after we got to our room to make sure everything was OK. Coin laundry was helpful. Kurig coffee makers in the rooms.

NO COFFEE, TEA, OR HOT DRINKS OF ANY KIND at breakfast. We were there 3 nights, and there was one machine for all hot drinks. It was broken the whole time, and they did not even bring in a hot water pot or something, so we could at least make tea, hot chocolate, or instant coffee. They told us to make tea/coffee in our rooms, but one of the days, they ran out of hot cups, so we couldn’t even do that. Hot drinks at breakfast is a basic expectation most people have for any hotel. The shower was pretty worn out and needs replacing.

I was glad to see they had a nice variety for breakfast and the food was good. . The rooms were very very nice and spacious and clean. The bed was very comfy too so no issues there at all👍🏽. They just need to change to Motel....not Hotel.

The reason for the loss of points from me is, I didn't expect it to be a Motel...because it says Hotel Pentagon. Meaning...I didn't expect to have to access my room door from outdoors in the elements! This was really misleading in thinking it was gonna be an indoor 'hotel' facility! What made it worse is that it was actually RAINING the night my friend and I arrived so we had to keep going bk and forth in the rain to bring our things to the room. Did not like that AT ALL! Please change title from Hotel to Motel so people know what they are paying for.

FOA: extra points for staff for letting us check in at 3:30am after our plane got delayed 4+ hours. The room was good, heating and AC, big room with big bed, good sized bathroom with toiletries restocked every day, staff is great, breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Getting to the hotel was easy with plenty of buses stopping nearby, easy access to several metro lines and stops (sadly public transportation does not work at night, but the taxi found the place quickly and straightforward).

The curtain was weird, did not cover fully, and was slightly blocking the heating/AC device. It was not a problem, just slight inconvinience.

was treated exceptionally well by all staff. loved the gentleman at the desk when I did my late check in, turns out we went to the same university! I like the parking lot, the rooms, the breakfast and proximity to everything. bus stop across the street but my family and I also walked from the pentagon city metro stop back to the hotel it took about 40 minutes which is no big deal for us. I liked just leaving my car at the hotel. neighborhood felt very safe. I traveled with two children, they loved the breakfast.

only thing- I really wish they had coffee at breakfast.

That location was ideal. Half a block away is the link to the interstate that can take you all over. It was also eight minutes away from my family. The hotel is old but very clean. And the staff is excellent. They were so helpful and nice, especially Harry. I will be going back.

I stayed nine days and out of the nine days seven were quiet. Two days though, I had horrible neighbors that kept me up to two and 3 AM. That is my only complaint.

Easy check in. Polite staff. Great water pressure in shower.breakfast had 4 hot items and several cold items. Family would have preferred more variety but I thought it was adequate. Breakfast staff were very good.

TV cable connection was poor. They tried to fix it but was too broken. The coffee machine was broken all but the last days. All they had to do was get a couple of inexpensive 30 cup dispensers but they chose not to. We need our coffee in the morning
