A good location for getting around to the sights of Washington, everything you need is close by including the metro. Shuttle service from the airport was quick and on time. I would stay here again!

Staff was outstanding and VERY accommodating. Location was great for us, we flew up to see two baseball games, shuttle service to and from Reagan International was appreciated. People on the street were great, the city was clean including the metro. Room was clean and quiet.
Peeling paint over the tub/shower unit in our room needs repairing. The shuttle bus for the airport, has no A/C, no springs, no shocks, and an incredibly terrible ride. Bus needs to be serviced.

Nice clean room and bathroom (that's really what does it for me!). No smell and the sheets were soft and comfy (not stiff). The location was close enough for us to walk around the next morning and get a nice breakfast. Staff was friendly and made check in easy since we had a last minute late night booking. It was quiet. Ordered grub hub and they didn't get lost (that happened when we stayed somewhere else in DC)
Parking is a little expensive, so look for street parking if you can. But it's like that everywhere out there.

The location was superb and I really enjoyed the bar downstairs. The room was great! We had to fit more people in our room one night due to an issue with their hotel (no fault of Doubletree) so it was a little packed but we made it work! Overall a very enjoyable trip!
I would've liked to have the ice machine on my floor work instead of goin all the way to lobby for ice (even if it was free still haha). Also I will only complain about the parking situation. On the second day of our stay we were told that the parking lot was no longer accessible for the rest of the weekend because it was full. It was frustrating because I paid $42/day for the parking. But to Doubletree's credit, they made it right with a guaranteed parking spot when I expressed my concern (nicely of course 😉)

Front desk staff was courteous. The concierge at the LL was very helpful.
We experienced TV issues and refrigerator issues within an hour of arriving. Then later ice machine on the floor was not producing any ice. Front desk staff asked for me to come downstairs to grab ice. I use a cane and excess movement is not suggested by my medical doctor. I suffered 2 strokes.

We had a very pleasant stay during American Airlines mishap. Had a little issue with the room, but "Hassan" from the front desk made the transition as easy as possible under the tough circumstances. Kudos to him! Our room was overlooking at the Pentagon and Washington Monument (from the distance). So that was a plus!
My issue was mainly focused on wi-fi connection. However, "Hassan" from the front desk resolved the issue by providing an alternate route to connect.

I am a Hilton Honors Member and was most appreciative of being moved to a better room that made it possible for me to recover from rather long travels on Amtrak. The hotel is lovely and well appointed and I will stay again do to some amenities that were in the neighborhood.
One complaint was getting help with my luggage. My taxi driver was willing to bring my bags into the hotel from his cab but there were NO BELLMAN or CARTS. So I found myself being a bit stressed out with numerous bags and no help on the lower level. I therefore RAN upstairs and asked "loudly" for help and the desk sent someone. Also, the phones are not picked up by the front desk when a guest calls. I had a bachelor party across the hall from my room and had to dress, take an elevator down to the lobby and ask security to come and take care of the "brawl" happening across from my room. The door to the suite was open with about 12 people partying for at least two hours before I finally needed to sleep.

The Front Desk Lady who checked us in on 7/9 was by far one of the sweetest agents i've encountered. She made sure we knew where to park (even allowed us to park 2 cars using one room). She gave us waters and warm cookies upon check-in. The rooms were huge! seperate living room space and then bedroom. I defintiely would recommend for group trip hotel.
We wanted to add friday night but the hotel would not honor the rate i previously booked. We ended up getting a cheap hotel in MD and then the next day drove to the hotel. We sadly were only staying overnight, so we did not really get to enjoy the room itself but it defintely was comfortable and worth the value of the one night.

The elevator situation getting to the rooftop restaurant is very confusing. Would be good if one could easily make a reservation. I had to spend 15 minutes finding my way up there just to try to make a reservation for later that evening.

its a "Hilton style" hotel at a very dwcent price. we got a very big room- excellent size for a family of 4. the hotel has several perks- like a nice coffee shop with food you can buy, laundry room and a free shuttke to the airport. all and all- nice!
We are 4- so needed 2 double beds, however the hotel only had a double sofa bed for the kids- not very comfortable. also- the metro station is a bit far. The hotel "fails" in the small things- like it doesnt clean your room unless you specifically ask- but nobody tells you that until you realize your room wasn't cleaned...
