Wingate by Wyndham Chesapeake

I liked that the facility had everything I wanted in A hotel like a refrigerator a microwave, a gym, Pool and Jacuzzi. The free breakfast was nice as well. The room was clean. But I'm a germ-a-phobe, so I just cleaned it again.

The Jacuzzi did not have bubbles. It was like sitting in a warm tub. My microwave was on the Fritz, and it kept burning all my food. I had Very noisy guest next to me for two nights, but that's not the hotel fault.

I really like this hotel, I travel often to Chesapeake area for business, and finally found a hotel where I couldn't complain about anything. Nice spacious room, comfortable bed, spacious vanity in the bathroom. Quiet. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Will come back if available.

The staff was super nice and answered every question and always had a smile. The breakfast was so great!!! The room was nice and comfortable. The hot tub felt wonderful. Only issue we had at all was operating the key card but that is just the system. Just couldn't be in a rush to get in the room.

Bed a tad high to get into but oh so comfy. Melted into the bed. very spacious room. Loved the options for breakfast. Very nice. Loved sitting the hot tub. Almost put me to sleep.

We were only here for one night so very limited interaction but the location was convenient right off the highway. Staff was welcoming and even gave us a call to make sure we were still on our way since we were arriving after 11.

It smelled clean and the staff was friendly!

The elevator was very dirty and needed to be wiped down. The police were called about possible theft which was concerning.

the property was close to a lot of businesses and restaurants and they offered some good amenities

kids were running around unsupervised playing with the breakfast food. and they should offer another protein rather than just pork sausage. the bed frames seemed to be made off sheet metal which made noise anytime you moved around

The room was okay but the bed was a little high yet comfortable. The breakfast I did not have. I had soup in my room. This layout could make a great studio apartment.

The tub was slippery, I had to placed a towel down and that made everything better for a shower. Unfortunately, I did not get to swim in the indoor pool!

Friendly service. They accommodated your request. They hot tub was great.

Overpriced room rates. Too many Hotels in area should keep prices down.

All of the staff were very friendly and inviting. I left one of my bags in the room and I didn’t realize it until I made it to the car. As I was approaching the front desk to let them know. A staff member was on the phone with them and was bringing my bag done to me.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, the pool was closed.
