There was a fraudulent charge on my partners credit card. We used the card for the security deposit when we checked in. That is the ONLY time we used it during our one night stay. When he got home and checked his statement there were charges from the bar or restaurant that were not from us. We called to try to get the charge removed and got told a manager would call us back. Didn't happen. After trying to call back several times with no response we chalked it up as a loss. Warning to others that stay here - make sure you check your credit card statement when you leave for the card used to check in. My guess is they allowed someone else at the bar to charge our room without verifying identity.

The breakfast buffet was very good and the dining staff were excellent. The property was well kept and clean. Overall it was a very nice hotel and I would return. The views from my room were great. Loved that it overlooked the water.

The young man that checked us into the hotel was very indifferent. When asking questions about the property it was like talking to a zombie and he acted as though it was a bother to assist us.

It was close to the port and the rooms were clean.

The Restaurant experience was not so good. Placed an order for dinner for my husband and I and waited 45 minutes. When the meal came it was only One meal instead of two. The young waitress was so overwhelmed with taking care of the entire area, that she had forgotten to put one of the orders in. Not her fault because this is a Management issue…it’s understaffed or at least it was for that day.

The staff and services were excellent. My conference was in Portsmouth, thus the location was very convenient having access to the Elisabeth River Ferry. Notably great service was the restaurant on the first floor of the property. The staff there were exceptionally welcoming and very efficient.

I felt that for the room size, its dated design, and small bathroom, the daily cost was a bit more expensive than what I would expect. This statement is based upon comparision to other Marriot properties I have stayed at.

Hey graciously bump me up and I was able to hang out in the penthouse floor with the private lounge club lounge. They allowed me to park out front I tip the guy it was great bunch of times The main parking is kind of a drive so that was a bonus they were very gracious hospitable and I would recommend the place

The hotel is close to so many diff restaurants...there is a mall not even 4mins away...and the view of the water and ships were beautiful...the hotel gives you a old but classy feel....it was not and definitely stay again...

Not enough parking close by...there is a parking deck...which is great but not in the 90+ degree heat and on checkout day the cleaning lady was knocking at the door at 9am...checkout wasn't until 11am and we had a long drive back home...we did not appreciate that at all...also the bathroom was a tad bit small... but overall a beautiful hotel

Location! Clean! Pleasant staff! The little snack place, and the courtesy drink station was nice!

Outdoor lights in front of hotel, harbor side, were not on. The next building down lights worked. Breakfast charge was unexpected I may have over looked this breakfast fee when booking, but it was like $20 + per person for breakfast. I had 1 omelet and coffee

I left my jacket and scarf in room 950 . Sept 6 check out. I called immediately they sent me to housekeeping. Left message for them. Called again last night at 6 pm front desk claims it was not found by housekeeping. Which means it was stolen by staff member of your hotel. It's a brown fur jacket zipper front with knitted sleeves. The scarf if off white knitted circle scarf. I want it back. My

The staff was nice and it was a nice location. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant food was good.

I did not like the price. I paid over $300 for one night with a room that did not even have a microwave. I really needed a microwave.

The breakfast was sufficient. I wish I could have ordered from the menu. The staff were also confused about the rates at the parking garage which was a concern.

There were spots on the fixtures and comforter. Additional updates are needed. The location is the selling feature.
